Join Mike, our resident grower, for a 1-hour workshop on vegetable gardening on April 6 & 20 at 9 am. He has a BS in Horticulture from Purdue University and has been a co-owner of Tuttle Orchards since 1982. Since becoming a co-owner, Mike has greatly expanded the vegetable production at Tuttle Orchards and is offering his wisdom during this workshop.
This workshop will cover the following topics:
Garden site selection
Soil preparation
Seed and plant selection
Timing of seeing and planting
Transplanting
Crop Rotation
Question and answer time
