Nothing can scare the town of Franklin from calling off their annual Halloween Town event. This all day event is full of family fun and a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
Franklin Halloween Town
The Halloween Town main events will take place on Saturday, October 23rd, 5 – 8 pm with various other events taking place throughout the week. This popular event includes a 5K Run/Walk , home decorating contest, trunk or treat and trick or treating at local businesses and costume contests.
Halloween Hustle 5K
The race starts at 9am. Includes a T-shirt if you complete the online registration by 10/14. 5K and family fun run registration forms available at the Cultural Arts and Recreation Center and online at franklinparks.org.

Trick the Town & Trick Your Trunk
Cars will be set up on N. Main Street from Jefferson Street to King Street for Trick Your Trunk, a trunk or treat event. Several downtown businesses will be handing out candy for Trick-The-Town. Kids will be able to collect treats from decorated trunks and downtown businesses from 5-7pm. If you are interested in decorating a trunk and passing out candy, please contact Holly at (317) 346-1198 to reserve a spot. Reservations are free but you must turn in a registration form, and you must provide your own decorations and candy at the event. Prizes will be awarded for the best “tricked” trunks.
