Want to get the most out of this year’s Halloween Costume? Mark your calendar for any or all of these trunk-or-treat events in the Indy area  Every year we try to scope out all the local opportunities to don the costumes, snag some candy and have fun.

While we’re waiting to see if Indianapolis allows Trick or Treating and other cities have announced their Halloween times here’s a list of all of the best places to go for trunk or treat!

Trunk or Treat Locations for Wednesday, October 20

Colts Drive-Thru Halloween Celebration

5-7:30 pm
South Lot, Lucas Oil Stadium – Enter via Gate 8

Join the Colts for Drive-Thru Halloween Celebration featuring giveaways, the chance to virtually meet Colts players, and take a photo with Blue, the Colts Mascot.  Items will be distributed to fans inside their vehicles in the South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium (Enter Gate 8). There will be a limit of 4 items per vehicle and children must be present to receive items.

Little Haunt on the Prairie

Spooky, yet age-appropriate Halloween activities will be offered for children ranging from preschool to school ages and their families the Little Haunt on the Prairie! $5 person and kids under 2 are free.

Monster Mash

Craig Park, Greenwood

Time to get your costumes ready and join us for a night of Spooky Fun at Craig Park during their Monster Mash. VIP tickets available for 4:30 – 6 pm admission. General Admission is FREE after 6 pm.

Fall Frenzy

Indianapolis Baptist Temple

As a safe alternative to Trick or Treating, Indianapolis Baptist Temple invites the community to come for a perfect opportunity to dress up in your favorite costume, win candy and have some family fun. “Fall Frenzy” is our Trunk-or-Treat style fall celebration event.

Halloween Town in Franklin

Downtown Franklin

Head to Halloween Town in Franklin and compete in the Halloween Hustle 5K, enter your pet in the howl-o-ween costume contest, trick-or-treat and more! Find more info on their website.

Witch’s Ride Community Trunk-n-Treat

Avon Town Hall Park

Join us for our 3rd annual Witch’s Ride Community Trunk-n-Treat! This is a free community event with trunks sponsored by local small businesses.  Grab your little goblins and come out for a freakishly fun time of tricks and treats, food trucks, DJ spinning spooky tunes, Dancing Witches, and so much more!

Halloween Fall Fest

4-7 pm
Donner Park, Columbus

Businesses participating in Halloween Fall Fest will decorate booths and hand out candy along the “spooky” Donner trails. There will be a costume contest for all ages and your pets.

Spooky Stroll at Garfield Park

Pre-registration is required and is $5 per child. Register early as this Spooky Stroll event is anticipated to sell out.

Trunk or Treat for Thursday, October 28

Halloween Spooktacular

6-8 pm
Riley Park Eastside, US40 & Apple Street, Greenfield

Join the Greenfield Parks and Recreation for a socially-distanced Halloween Spooktacular trunk or treat. This fun, safe event will take place in the Riley Park Apple Street parking lot rain or shine.

Halloween Party

Trafalger Branch 424 South Tower Dr., Trafalger, IN

Wear your costume to the library for games, crafts and some trick-or-treating on the prairie during this fun halloween party.

Trunk or Treat for Friday, October 29

Halloween Festival

SpeakIndy and Common Ground Church are partnering up to sponsor this sensory and allergy friendly Halloween event. Dress in costume, visit booths with activities and treats.

Join us Friday, October 29th for a FREE Halloween party at Indianapolis Healthplex! The event is open to all children and their families. This family fun Halloween Party will feature games and activities, a haunted house, contests and of course trick or treating.

MJW Financial is hosting a free Trunk or Treat event to the public. Come dressed in costumes and ready to have fun! There will be a food truck with some free offerings and food to purchase.

We’re excited to announce this year’s Trunk-or-Treat dates will be Saturday, Oct. 30, 2-4 pm. This event is for children age 0-4th grade and their families. Please, no scary costumes. And, it’s happening rain or shine!

No Tricks, Just Treats!

Wear your costume and join us at the Marion County Fairgrounds & Event Center for a family friendly event! $5 a car load and all activities are FREE! Paint a pumpkin, face painting, games, prizes, & Halloween movies. Food and drink available for purchase.

Trunk or Treat

2600 S Harding Street, Indianapolis

Animal Care Services is hosting a Trunk or Treat. This event is FREE and for all ages! There will be a photo booth so feel free to come in costume! Adoptable animals will be viewable until 6pm.

Trot-N-Treat

5-8 pm
1350 Terry Drive, Plainfield

Come join Strides to Success for our Halloween event! We will have Halloween games set up in our arena! Our horses will be dressed in their best costumes, and so will some of our staff. The event is free to the public but donations are always appreciated!

Sammy’s Halloween Spooktacular at Ceraland

5-9 pm
Cereland Park (in front of the Aquatic Center), 3989 S 525 E, Columbus

Visit Cereland Park for trick or treating in the campground. Celebration starts at 5pm, trick-or-treating is from 7-9pm and a movie starts at 9pm. There will be games and a costume contest, too!

Monster Mash

6025 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis

The Dance Company is calling all monsters to a parking lot spooktacular. Dress up your kids and bring them to this socially distanced event to get some treats.

Town of McCordsville Trunk or Treat

noon – 2 pm
McCordsville Town Hall Parking Lot, 6280 W 800 N, McCordsville

Trunk-or-Treat is an annual event for kids and parents. Vehicles are decorated and the kids can go from car to car for treats. There will be games and prizes for the best decorated vehicle. The event takes place in the Town Hall Park parking lot.

Halloween Hike

3-5 pm
1101 Indianapolis Road, Mooresville

Halloween Hike is back and the day & time has changed to accommodate your busy schedule.
The mile long trail features approximately 20 stations with scenes from popular cartoon, movie and book characters. Children 12 and under will receive a treat or trinket at each station. FREE!

Boo Bash & Trick-or-Treat Trail

10 am-1 pm
Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, 6 Municipal Dr, Fishers

Join the fun on Saturday, October 30, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater as Boo Bash makes its return! With more than 50 local vendors offering safe trick-or-treating around the Fishers Municipal Complex, take part in our trick-or-treating trail, Teal Pumpkin Project booths providing non-food items for children with food allergies and special needs, a display of community-carved jack-o-lanterns, live music, food, games, and more! Wearing costumes is encouraged for all attendees!

Trunk or Treat & Car Show Indianapolis 

4-6 pm

Join Mercy Road Church Northwest for their 3nd annual Trunk or Treat. This family-friendly event will take place in their huge parking lot, so social distancing will be easy. There will also be food trucks and a car show.

Trick-or-Treat Trail in Whitestown

4 – 8 ;00 pm
4671 Anson Boulevard, Whitestown

Join Whitestown Parks and Recreation for a safe, free, family-friendly trick or treating event. This will be an open-house style event where you can come and go as you please. Vendors will be safely spaced along the trail and families can decide if they would like to go into the “spooky” woods. There will also be a bonfire and pumpkins available for purchase

Trail and Treat at Williams Park

5 pm (movie at 6 pm)
940 Locust Lane, Brownsburg

We will have Trail and Treat at Williams Park on Oct. 30. You can also watch our Boovie, “Hocus Pocus” while at the park.

Fort Harrison Halloween Bash

Join Fort Harrison State Park for their Halloween Bash full of fall activities. All activities included with standard gate admission.

Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat

4-6 pm
Kingsway Christian Church, 7981 E County Road 100 N, Avon

Attend the drive-thru Trunk or Treat on the 30th. This community event will take place in the Kingsway parking lot. More details to come on the Kingsway website.

Drive Thru Trick-or-Treat

Dress the kids up in their costumes and drive thru our parking lot for a fun socially distant trick-or-treat!

Drive Thru Halloween at the Y
Hendricks Regional Health YMCA, 301 Satori Parkway, Avon

Bring your whole family to this contactless Halloween event.  Treats will be placed in vehicles by YMCA staff.  No registration is required.

Trunk or Treat – Serenity Dance Connections
600 West Northfield Drive, Brownsburg (Parking lot by Kohl’s)

Join Serenity Dance Connections for this trunk or treat. Wear your favorite costume and mask and receive lots of goodies.

Sat-Terror-Day
Talon Stream Paved Trail, 5344 Pike Lane, Plainfield

This free outdoor event will feature a Trunk or Treat and photo ops for your family, so be sure to come dressed in costume. Masks are required and COVID precautions will be taken, such as additional cleaning and social distancing.

Join the Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207 for decorated cars and candy.  The public is welcome to this free event.

Trunk or Treat at Town Hall in Bargersville
24 N. Main Street, Bargersville
Trunk or treat at this free family-friendly event in front of Bargersville’s Town Hall. Social distancing will be practiced and masks must be worn.

Trick or Treat the the Country Gate StoryWalk
Country Gate Park, 600 Country Gate Boulevard, New Whiteland

Register with the Johnson County Public Library for this free event featuring a story time, trick or treating, and fun fall activities. Be sure to visit the story walk and read “Come Home Already” while you’re there.

Trunk or Treat with Center Grove Robotics
2797 Trojan Lane, Greenwood

See STEAM themed trunks at this event hosted by Center Grove’s Red Alert Robotics Team. Come show off your costume and get some candy! This event will be outside, weather permitting. Hosts will be social distancing and wearing facial coverings and gloves.

 

Greenwood Parks Halloween Parade
Downtown Greenwood
This year Greenwood Parks will be hosting a Halloween Parade instead of its annual Monster Mash event. Attendees of all ages can dress up and line the streets on the parade route from Surina Way and Washington Street, west on Main Street, and south on Madison Avenue back to Surina Way. Vendors will throw candy from their Halloween-themed floats.

Rowdie’s Pumpkin Patch at Victory Field
501 West Maryland Street, Indianapolis

Join Rowdie and trunk or treat on the Victory Field concourse with Indians staff members passing out pre-packed candy from Toyota vehicles. There will also be 1000 pumpkins in the outfield, and each child can take one home. You can also enjoy hayrides, a costume contest, pumpkin colorings, and socially-distanced photos with Rowdie. Tickets are $5 per person (ages 2 and under are free) and include one pumpkin for each child age 14 and under. Ticket proceeds benefit Indianapolis Indians Charities.

Ghosts and Goblins Drive-Thru
115 S. County Road 575 East, Avon

Cars will follow a set path through Washington Park to pick up treats from vendors along the way. The path will go under a haunted bridge and end with candidates sharing political information “if you’re brave enough to drive that way!”

Trunk or Treat at EUMC Noblesville
16000 Cumberland Road, Noblesville

Families are welcome to trunk or treat decorated vehicles in the Emmanuel parking lot. Families with last names beginning A-L are asked to come from 4-5pm and M-Z from 5-6pm. Pre-register for this family event on the Emmanuel United Methodist Church website. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Monster Mash Trunk or Treat Drive-Thru
600 E. County Rd 50 N, Danville (Gary Eakin Park)

Dress in costume and drive “trunk to trunk” at this free, safe event hosted by Danville Parks and Friends.  Costumes and Donations are encouraged.

Halloween Drive Thru Trick or Treat
40 South Alabama Street, Indianapolis

Wear your costumes and drive by the Marion County Sheriff’s office for a treat from Deputies and staff.

CBC Greenfield Trunk or Treat
1450 West Main Street, Greenfield

Trunk or treat with Calvary Baptist Church on Halloween.  Please wear masks and social distance for this safe, family fun event.

JB Stephens Elementary Trunk or Treat Drive-Thru
1331 N. Blue Road, Greenfield

Dress up in costume and drive through this trunk or treat.  Each child will receive a pre-packaged bag of candy from the masked and gloved volunteers.
