Want to get the most out of this year’s Halloween Costume? Mark your calendar for any or all of these trunk-or-treat events in the Indy area  Every year we try to scope out all the local opportunities to don the costumes, snag some candy, and have fun.

Trunk or Treat Locations for Saturday, October 14

The Arts in Autumn

2-6 pm
Midtown Plaza, Carmel

The whole family is invited to enjoy this free fall festival in Midtown Carmel. Trick-or-treating stations around the plaza and inside the nearby Indiana Design Center are just the beginning. The event also promises live music, arts and crafts vendors, giveaways, a 2 pm screening of Hotel Transylvania, free balloon art and glitter tattoos, trolley rides, and more. For even more treats, saunter down to Main Street for Meet Me on Main, where participating local businesses will be handing out candy from 4-8 pm.

Fifth Annual B&W Boo Bash

Join the Bailey & Wood Financial Group NMLS for the annual Trunk or Treat Boo Bash at the Whiteland Bailey and Wood office! There will be trick or treating, games, prizes, bouncy houses, and more!

Monster Mash

Time to get your costumes ready and join us for a night of Spooky Fun at Craig Park during their Monster Mash. VIP tickets available for 4:30-6 pm admission. General Admission is FREE after 6 pm.

Fall Frenzy

Indianapolis Baptist Temple

As a safe alternative to Trick or Treating, Indianapolis Baptist Temple invites the community to come for a perfect opportunity to dress up in your favorite costume, win candy, and have some family fun. “Fall Frenzy” is our Trunk-or-Treat style fall celebration event.

Trunk or Treat at Rocklane Christian Church

3-6 pm

Join Rocklane Christian Church for an event the whole family will love! They will have carnival games, photo areas, free hotdogs, chips and water, a chili cook-off, door prizes, and of course, lots of trunks with lots of candy. Come anytime between 3 and 6 pm.

Join Greenfield Parks and our guest vendors for the annual Trunk or Treat at a new location! Because of your support, we have expanded to the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds! The event is FREE to everyone and is rain or shine. We hope you join us for a spooktacular time!

Jeepers Creepers Trunk or Treat

Join Daniel’s Vineyard for the winery’s Jeepers Creepers Trunk or Treat Event! Come dressed up in your best costume to Trick or Treat around the vineyard. RSVP for this free event on their website.

Trick or Treating in the Plaza

5:30-7:30 pm
225 S Union Street, Westfield

Join us for a community-wide trick-or-treating event at Grand Junction Plaza! After you are done trick or treating, gather on the Great Lawn for our Movies in the Plaza showing of Hocus Pocus!

Bargersville Trunk or Treat

6-8 pm
24 N Main Street, Bargersville

The Town of Bargersville invites you to join us on for a free, family-friendly Trunk or Treat event on Main Street!

Trunk or Treat Locations for Saturday, October 28

Halloween Town in Franklin

3-8 pm
Downtown Franklin

Enjoy a whole day of fun, starting with the Halloween Hustle 5K run/walk and 1-mile family walk at 9 am, followed by food vendors and activities from 11 am to 7 p.m.. From 5-7 pm, come to downtown Franklin for trick or treating from stores (and along North Main Street for trick or treating from trunks). Vehicles will be set up and kids will be able to collect treats from decorated trunks and trucks. Check the website link to confirm times and activities.

Trunk or Treat at KidStrong Carmel

2-4 pm
13744 N. Meridian St, Carmel

Members and non-members alike are invited to this free outdoor event held in the KidStrong Carmel parking lot. Local businesses will pass out candy and treats. Arrive at 2 for a special appearance from the local fire station.

Carni-Fall at Independence Park StoryWalk

4-6 pm
Independence Park

The special needs community is invited to Carni-Fall at Independence Park to play on the adaptive playground, enjoy a story walk, candy stations, carnival games, a bounce house, and more. Costumes are allowed. No age restrictions. No cost to attend.

Trunk or Treat at Cornerstone Lutheran

2-4 pm
Cornerstone Lutheran—Eagle Creek, 6100 N Raceway Road, Indianapolis

At this safe alternative to Trick-or-Treating, children age 0-4th grade and their families go from decorated car trunk to trunk in the parking lot collecting Halloween candy and other small trinkets.

Fourth Annual Trunk or Treat

7502 S Madison Ave, Indianapolis

Join Dynamic Music Therapy for their 4th Annual Trunk of Treat! Wear costumes and have a good time. Treats, hot chocolate, games, and more! This event is sensory-friendly and will be mindful of lights, noises, and scary things, etc. We will also have healthy treats for any dietary needs. This event is for all ages and abilities!

Boo Bash

Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, 6 Municipal Dr, Fishers

Celebrate Halloween with Fishers’ Parks on Saturday, October 28, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater! A reimagined Boo Bash, presented by Centier Bank, comes to downtown Fishers with free live music and entertainment, food trucks, games and activities, and more! Come in costume for some great photo opportunities with City of Fishers’ departments and vendors. This event is free, and no registration is required.

Treats on Main

Main Street, Fortville

Trick or treat from business to business as downtown Fortville celebrates Halloween!

Trunk or Treat & Car Show Indianapolis

4-6 pm
9511 Angola Court, Indianapolis

Join Mercy Road Church Northwest for their 5th annual, FREE Trunk or Treat event. Come dressed in your costumed best, grabbing candy from themed trunks and enjoying local coffee, food trucks, and a car show.

Trick or Treat Trail

4-8 pm
Anson Acres Park, Whitestown

This is a free, open-house-style event where local businesses and organizations will pass out candy along the trail. After trick-or-treating for candy from local businesses, attendees can roast s’mores over a bonfire and go through the spooky woods.

Trail and Treat at Williams Park

5 – 7 pm
Williams Park, 940 Locust Lane, Brownsburg

Head to Brownsburg for a safe Trail and Treat at Williams Park on October 28.

HalloweenFest

7-9 pm
Jimmy Nash Park, 360 N Home Ave, Martinsville

Join friends and neighbors in Martinsville as this event returns for its second year. HalloweenFest is held in Martinsville’s Jimmy Nash Park and trick-or-treating is free.

Gym or Treat

3-5 pm
Gibson Athletics Center, 10710 Pendleton Pike Suites C-D, Indianapolis

Weather isn’t a worry for this trick-or-treating event. Activities will be held indoors in the Gibson Athletics Center’s gym. You can also head back outside for a touch-a-truck experience with local fire, EMS, and police vehicles. Wear your best costume to participate in the contest!

Trunk or Treat at Castleton UMC

2-4 pm
7101 N Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis

Bring your kids to show off your costumes at the free and safe Trunk or Treat at Castleton United Methodist Church. There will be tons of cars lined up in the parking lot decorated for Halloween and smiling faces ready to hand out candy and treats. 

Town of McCordsville Trunk or Treat

3 – 5 pm
Outlook Church

Trunk-or-Treat is an annual event for kids and parents. Vehicles are decorated and the kids can go from car to car for treats. There will be games and prizes for the best-decorated vehicle.

Annual Fall Celebration Trunk or Treat

4-5:30 pm
Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 1605 E 106th Street, Indianapolis

Come as you are! Dressed in costume or everyday wear, Orchard Park Presbyterian Church will be glad to celebrate the season of fall with you. Trunk or treat, games and activities, food, and a raffle.

Trunk or Treat at Christ Indy UMC

4-6 pm

2023 Trunk or Treat at Christ Indianapolis United Methodist Church will take place on Sunday, October 29 from 4-6 pm! Free Admission! Free food! Free games! Be sure to bring your best costume and all your friends!

Trunk or Treat in Danville

4:30-6 pm
West Bridge Church, 1521 County Road 75W, Danville

Join West Bridge Church for a safe and fun indoor family trick-or-treat.

Trunk-Or-Treat at Castleton Christian

5-6:30 pm

Enjoy this family-friendly Trunk-Or-Treat event at Castleton Christian! They’ll have games, decorated vehicles, a bounce house, and of course…tons of candy!

Trunk-or-Treat at Koteewii Equine Experience

5-8 pm
11949 Koteewi Dr, Noblesville

Head to Strawtown Koteewii Park’s Equine Experience for their first-ever trunk-or-treat event. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a contest for the best-decorated car.
