Halloween in Indianapolis is near and trick-or-treat hours are here! That’s right, you need to check trick-or-treat times in your neighborhood to see when your trick-or-treating times take place. Many Central Indiana and Indianapolis area cities and communities have designated hours for trick or treating and it’s important to respect those hours.
If you’re not interested in combing the neighborhood and participating in traditional trick or treating on Halloween, here are more places your kids can trick or treat in Indy, including Trunk or Treat locations.

Most cities post their official Trick or Treat hours closer to October, but typically Indianapolis hours are from 6-8 pm on Halloween night. We’ll post updates as they are received, so check back often.

Trick or Treat Precautions
- Adult supervision is recommended
- Dress in bright colors and bring or wear lights
- Only ring the bell of homes with a light on
- Stay home if you feel sick
- Do not pass out candy if you feel sick
- Use hand sanitizer often
