Do you dream of an educational experience for your child that promotes critical thinking, fosters collaborative community relationships, and empowers your child to discover themselves and the world around them? If so, you have found your place at The Learning Studio Preschool at The Urban Chalkboard. Director, Nicole Monkul believes children are strong and capable thinkers with the ability to use freedom and creativity with every experience they encounter. At The Learning Studio Preschool our beliefs are based off of the Reggio Emilia approach to learning where all activities are student-centered and self-directed within an environment that is full of wonder and endless potential.
You can expect your child to build a strong foundation of socialization skills, emotional support, and executive function skills coupled with a love of learning that will springboard your child’s ability to succeed in a kindergarten classroom and throughout life. We are beyond excited to extend the mission of The Urban Chalkboard to a truly one-of-a-kind preschool program led by an expert Director and based in developmental and educational science. The Learning Studio Preschool will have exclusive use of The Urban Chalkboard during class times, and our play cafe will close at 1pm.
