Batesville, Indiana, is quickly becoming a hot spot for families seeking beautiful art in quaint places. The newest art installation is found above. Color Rain is made up of 1000’s of colorful ribbons, inspired by the sky after a storm.

Batesville Sky Art Installations

Just 60 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, in the city of Batesville, this magical art installation is absolutely irresistible. This isn’t the first time Batesville has wowed visitors from near and far. Just last year they had the world-famous, Umbrella Sky Project art installation.

Thousands of brightly colored ribbons are fluttering in the wind, creating a vision of rainbow rain. Nearly as long as a city block and tucked in the middle of the quaint downtown area, the Color Rain installation is a must-see for all art-loving families. In fact, anyone who loves color and beauty will take joy in this display.

Color Rain will be on display in Batesville from April through June 2022. Programs and events will take place under umbrellas. Look for Farmers’ Market dates, live music performances, magicians, and other fun community events.

The Umbrella Sky Project installation will return in July and remain in Batesville through September 2022.
