I absolutely hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is one of those times I have to. The Christmas Tree House/Holiday House in Greenwood is gone forever. After a rollercoaster few years of beautiful displays, the owners are done.
I’m leaving this article here because it was so wonderful. Check out the video:
The Christmas Tree House in Greenwood Indiana
Updates for 2018 – A few years ago, my mom called me from California and told me that there was a man in Greenwood that has a bunch of Christmas trees in his house and he’s on the local news! It’s not every day that an Indianapolis area home is featured on local television in Southern California.
With 84+ Christmas trees inside of their home, each one decorated with its own color or theme, Brandon Smith and Dennis Guyette don’t have to heat their home during the month of December. The more than 52,000 lights and candles keep the house heated above 85 degrees. You are just going to have to see it. I have friends who have Christmas trees in every room of their house but these guys have a house FULL of Christmas trees!
Their home is open to the public every night from December 1st through Christmas Eve.
