Kids Planet in Brownsburg is such a great find for my family! We live on the north side of Indy, but the 40-minute drive was totally worth it for this amazing indoor play area.
Visiting Kids Planet in Brownsburg
When you enter, you walk into the arcade space, where you can purchase game cards if you choose to play arcade games. The games are fun, but the big reason to come play at Kids Planet is the amazing multi-story indoor playground. It is packed full of features that kids of all ages will love.
Pricing varies depending on if you’re visiting on a weekend or a weekday. Admission gets you two hours of playtime, rounded up to the nearest half hour after you arrive and pay. You will need to purchase Kids Planet’s special grippy socks, but you can keep them and reuse them on your next visit.
Kid’s Planet Play Area
When you enter the play area, you will find a huge, four-story playground for the big kids. Several different types of play features are embedded into the structure. There is a great ball play area with tons of small balls that you can use for different activities. There is also a sensory play area, a LEGO building section, a foam pit, and a trampoline section in the big kid area. This structure is huge and my kids play for hours with ease.
There is ample seating for adults throughout the entire area, where you can sit and supervise the kiddos while they play. As an appreciated safety precaution, staff members are stationed up in the play area, to help keep an eye on the kids and help them if needed.
Kids Planet also has a designated toddler section. It is specifically designed for children 3 and under and a staff member in this area enforces the age limit to ensure your small children can play safely. The toddler area is large, featuring multiple slides, a ball pit, a climbing structure, and countless toys for playtime on the ground. The ground features foam flooring as an additional measure to prevent your little ones from being injured.
Upstairs, you’ll find a dining area complete with a concession stand that sells pizza, hot dogs, soft drinks, and more. We love utilizing the food for lunch and appreciate that we can bring water down to the playground for our kids to access easily while playing. There are also observation windows located in the dining area, so you can watch your big kids play while you grab a snack.
There are bathrooms located immediately outside the playground, next to the arcade area—nice and convenient for a quick bathroom break before jumping right back into playtime.
This play area is geared toward children 14 and under. No matter what side of town you are on, Kids Planet in Brownsburg is worth the drive and would make a great choice for your next family day out!
