When you first step from your car into the crisp fall air at Stuckey Farm, you will notice two things immediately: the smell of freshly made fried apple cider donuts and a gorgeous red barn with all the fall treasures you could possibly want inside. Your kids will be so excited to see the beginning of a wagon ride, games, and the fun attractions inside Adventure Acres.
Stuckey Farm is a must-do this fall season with your family!
Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Farm in Hamilton County
Stuckey Farm is located in Sheridan and offers a variety of festivals and activities throughout the year. Farm hours for the 2024 fall season are Thursday-Saturday, 10 am-7 pm, and Sunday, 1 pm-7 pm. Stuckey Farm is only open to school tours on Mondays through Wednesdays. Festivals may have different hours and are often open on Saturdays and Sundays. Be sure to check their website and social media for more details!
Stuckey Farm Admission
Pricing at Stuckey varies depending on which activities you choose. A visit to the farm store for fall produce and treats can all be done without paying an admission fee. Beyond the farm store, all guests over the age of 2 will need to pay admission. Your fee comes with some great perks that make it well worth the expense!
Visit on weekdays to pay just $10 for access to the rest of the farm. On Saturdays and Sundays, the cost goes up to $16, but you can save $2 when you purchase online. This price gets you unlimited access to the children’s play area called Adventure Acres, as well as unlimited wagon rides, the Super Mega Slide, any scheduled festival activities, and access to the corn maze, pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and sunflower fields.
New in 2024, admission also includes 1/4 peck of Upick apples (an $8.50 value), a bunch of Upick zinnias, and a ride on the brand new Stuckey Express train. Pick more apples or zinnias, or select a pumpkin for an additional cost.
Sunflower Fields at Stuckey Farm
There are u-pick sunflowers available seasonally at Stuckey Farm. Sunflowers are sold by the stem, with discounted rates available when you purchase a whole bouquet. The farm’s 7 acres of golden blooms warrant their own festival. Stuckey Farm’s 2024 Sunflower Festival will be held two weekends in a row, August 30-September 2 and September 7-8.
U-Pick Apples at Stuckey Farm
Stuckey Farm has U-Pick Apples! Choose from 36 varieties grown throughout the 5000-tree orchard. Pre-picked apples are available for sale in the store. Keep in mind that you will have to pay admission to the farm to access the orchard, but 1/4 peck of apples is included in your fee.
Pumpkin Patch at Stuckey
Later in the fall, the pumpkin patch is ready for picking! You can take the wagon ride out to the patch to select your pumpkin or choose from one of the pre-picked options by the farm store if you prefer.
Children’s Play Area on the Farm
Adventure Acres has something fun for little ones of all ages. Whether your kids want to take a ride down the 25-foot tube slide or hop aboard the barrel tractor ride, everyone will have a blast. There are also playgrounds, live pig races (weekends only), big pedal cars, and more! Your kids will play for hours and never want to leave! The pig races are a favorite for both kids and adults.
The newest addition to the farm is the Stuckey Express! This smaller version of a classic steam engine runs on a real half-mile track around some of Stuckey Farm’s most scenic areas. Every visitor receives one free ride, which is included with admission!
Bathrooms on the Farm
Portable bathroom amenities are located throughout major traffic points on the farm. There are sanitizing stations outside the bathrooms to ensure your health and safety. Adventure Acres has two child-sized portable restrooms for your little one, or those with disabilities who might need a toilet lower to the ground.
Food at Stuckey Farm
By now you have certainly worked up an appetite. Trust me, run, do not walk, to the donut stand and get a dozen fresh, warm apple cider donuts. They are freshly fried all day during the fall festival, and coated in cinnamon and sugar. You’ll also find a variety of other foods at the concession stands. Don’t miss the famous frozen apple cider slushies. Everything is very reasonably priced, so you can indulge without breaking the bank.
Remember that beautiful red barn I mentioned? You can’t leave without checking out the farm store inside. You’ll love all of the local eats and sweets in there to purchase. Freshly made pies, local honey, jams, and produce are just a few of the things you’ll find there. There’s also a huge assortment of fall and Halloween décor available for purchase, we found so many unique items in the shop!
Our family now has official Stuckey Farm Barbecue Sauce, a gallon of fresh apple cider, Amish potato soup mix, and Amish buttery popcorn topping for our next movie night. We can’t wait to go back and try one of the pies, and there will never be enough donuts and cider!
Save with a Season Pass
If you live near Stuckey Farm, consider purchasing a season pass so you can visit over and over again! For $32 per person, you’ll get general admission every day throughout the year and an invite to Season Passholders’ Preview Night. Each time you go, you can leave with a complimentary 1/4 peck of Upick apples. For families local to the area, Stuckey Farm’s season pass provides a fantastic value.
Parking at Stuckey Farm
When you arrive, there are multiple parking options depending on how busy the farm is. The main parking lot is located right in front of the big red barn and overflow parking is marked off to the side in the grass. If you come on a busier day or during the fall season, plan to park in the overflow lot. There are several handicap-accessible parking spots right in front of the red barn if you need accessible parking.
Sunflowers, pumpkins, apples, and more make Stuckey Farm a one-stop shop for all things fall! You do not want to miss their fall festival this season.
