Lowe’s Home Improvement hardware stores have hosted sold-out children’s Build & Grow clinics for quite some time. These free hands-on workshops for kids who want to learn to build things are popular for kids in the preschool and elementary school age set. Now, parents in ten U.S. cities have first access to the all-new Lowe’s Build a Birthday party program, including our very own Indianapolis area store, the Noblesville location.
Lowe’s Birthday Parties for Kids
These paid, private birthday parties are perfect for the next generation of builders, makers, and DIYers. Only ten cities will have this unique opportunity, but we’re sure that it’s going to be a hit and the Lowe’s birthday party program will expand to a Lowe’s near you!
Lowe’s birthday parties are for kids aged five years old and up. Party packages are for 12-20 guests and include DIY project kids, safety goggles, aprons, and party construction hats for each child. Kids can choose to build projects such as wooden castles, race cars, or custom wall shelves.
Each two-hour Lowe’s Build a Birthday experience will be led by a Lowe’s Red Vest Party Captain, and kids will get practical- and hands-on knowledge in a fun, in-store environment. Party packages will be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Upgrades are available to make party planning easy and hands-off for parents. You can add on pizza, drinks, and desserts from Domino’s, as well as Lowe’s party favors such as T-Shirts, water bottles, and backpacks.
Things to note: Minor guests must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will need to stay with their minor for the duration of the party.
How Much is a Lowe’s Birthday Party?
A basic birthday party at Lowe’s starts at $349. This includes:
12 guests – additional guests may be added up to 20 total at $20 per additional guest
A party captain to lead the party
A designated party space in the store
1 DIY project kit per child, including all necessary tools and materials
Party accessories like goggles, aprons, and construction hats
Build Birthday e-vites managed through Punchbowl
The option to add paid party upgrades from Domino’s and Lowe’s.
Pizza add-ons start at $15 for the first three pizzas and then $12 for each additional pizza. Soft drinks are $4.25 each 2-liter and an assortment of desserts starts at $9.25.
Indianapolis Area Lowes Birthday Parties
So far, the only Lowe’s location offering birthday party packages is in Noblesville. They offer Friday evening parties at 5 pm, Saturday parties at 3 pm, and Sunday parties at 10 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm.
