Slick City Center Grove / Slick City Greenwood

John Merrill of Merrill Property Group recently announced the plans for Slick City’s second Indiana location via a live Facebook video. He says this new site will be situated at 2904 S State Road 135, Greenwood, IN, at the corner of 135 and Stones Crossing, where a former Marsh grocery store once stood. Merrill claims that although this location was initially selected as the first location before the Brownsburg opening, a tornado in 2023 caused significant construction delays. With those challenges now resolved, construction on the Greenwood facility is expected to begin soon.

Merrill also highlighted other exciting developments within the same shopping center. Crew Carwash plans to introduce a new concept car wash, and popular restaurants such as Bru Burger, Stone Creek, and Fujiyama will be establishing locations nearby. This mix of entertainment and dining options is poised to make the area a destination for families and visitors alike.

Another Slick City location is set to emerge on the northeast side of Indianapolis. According to the Geist Harbours Property Owners Association’s Spring/Summer newsletter, the company has purchased the site of a former Marsh store at 11625 Fox Road. The old building will be demolished to make way for Slick City’s state-of-the-art family entertainment center. Preliminary site maps project an opening date in 2025.

In addition to Slick City, the area will see the arrival of other businesses, including a new Goodwill store and a gas station with a convenience store.

With these upcoming expansions, Slick City continues to grow its portfolio of destinations for family-friendly fun in Indiana.
