If you’re looking for something to do with your children that’s a fun and unique experience, I have a new idea for you! If you are in search of an activity in a space that’s exclusive to your family or friend group, this one is also for you.
Ripple Mobile Arts is well known in the Indianapolis parenting community, you may have seen Jeremy leading workshops at the Indianapolis Public Library, homeschool groups, scouting groups and even at Indy birthday parties. Located at 4550 Central Avenue, Indianapolis on the third floor of Northwood Christian Church, the Ripple Mobile Arts studio space is the perfect spot for a family art session or group lesson.
Jeremy South, the owner and instructor at Ripple Mobile arts is patient and kind with everyone and is passionate about getting children involved in art and creating.
Art Studio
Our family booked one hour in the studio where we got to choose between a pottery wheel experience, hand-building in clay, fused glass or recycled art. In a one hour session, you’ll get to complete two projects, but if you decide that you’d like to try the pottery wheel or fused glass, you’ll only have time for one project. Jeremy’s studio space if very welcoming and the perfect environment to get your creative side going. Classes and private family studio times are available for a very reasonable fee. If you have a group larger than 6-8 people, Mobile Ripple Arts can move the studio to the outdoor courtyard.
Monthly Classes
Jeremy offers after school and daytime classes where participants will make fused glass, seasonal decor, trendy clay creations and more. Most of these classes are around $10 per person.
Summer Camp
Ripple Mobile Arts will host several summer camp weeks at area schools. Additionally, half day summer camps are available for a week in June.
Art Parties & Birthday Parties
Choose several different options for your next birthday party or gathering. Ripple Mobile Arts will host your party in studio or the courtyard or in your home or location of your choice. You can even have kits delivered to all of your party guests and choose to host a virtual event!
Pottery Wheel Rental
You can have a pottery wheel delivered to your home with all of the supplies you need to make your own masterpieces. Starting at $40 for two days, there’s no better deal, especially since it includes all of the clay you need and tools too!
Date Night
What a unique and creative date night idea this would be! Rent a pottery wheel to use in your space, or schedule a date night in the studio. Double date anyone?
Special Needs
For special needs accommodations, please contact Jeremy directly. The building does not have elevator access, but classes can take place outside of the studio.
Clay creations can be painted in the studio and then left behind to be fired in the kiln. You’ll get to return a few weeks later to pick up your projects.
