Happy Halloween! Do you remember when you were a kid and you’d spend hours deciding on the perfect costume and mapping out the most efficient route, with the best candy? I do!
As an adult, my favorite part is the costumes—creative or spooky, big kid or little kids. It’s just fun to see the personality of a child through their costume choice. We like to get a lot of use out of our costumes, so we have been visiting some of our favorite Trunk-or-Treat events in Indy all month. If you haven’t been yet, there are plenty of free events this weekend to check out!
And when planning your route, make sure you check the Halloween Trick or Treat times in your area before heading out. If you want to avoid the crowds, load up the family can and drive around to some Halloween decorations and light displays near you.
No tricks just treats when we #PlayIndy. Have a safe and fun Halloween weekend. 🎃

Start your Saturday with a block of classic cartoons and help pack the pantry for the Interchurch Food Pantry before the holiday season! Doors open approximately 45 minutes before the show. Different cartoons at each showtime! Six cartoons (about 45 minutes) are scheduled to show in 35mm film. This all-ages event stars Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Warner Brothers cartoon crew! Admission is just one canned or non-perishable food item. Tickets will be available day of the show at the door only.
Teddy Bear Series with the ISO
The Runaway Strings is an adventure-filled tale of a quartet of string instruments who run away to search for adventures to bring home to their audience by making themselves into different forms of transportation. Young children are invited to move along to music, listen to a story, and watch five musicians from the ISO perform. Fun activities begin at 10 am including a book signing with the author and ISO Violinist Victoria Kintner, a musical petting zoo, and more. There will be a full performance of The Runaway Strings beginning at 11 am. This event is free to attend, but registration is required.
Trick-or-Treat Corn Maze
Trick-or-Treat through the corn maze for candy and prizes! The folks at Kelsay Farms look forward to your visit to their family farm as they celebrate 16 years. Purchase your tickets in advance to make check-in simple when you arrive at the farm. General admission tickets include ALL activities on the farm! The only additional costs would be for pumpkins or concessions. Tickets are required for anyone ages 2 and above.
