7 Things to Do This Weekend
Kids Eat Free
Enjoy an afternoon out as the Fuel put on a show for people of all ages. Members of Nitro’s Kids Club run the show by helping our emcee, PA announcer and taking over various other game day jobs! All kids 12 and under eat free. Stick around after the game and enjoy a post-game skate with the team!
"The Mitten" Storytime Event
“The Mitten” will be the focus of story time this week. Guests will play a matching game, use some stick masks to retell the story, practice some lacing skills, and much more.
Since participants can move through the stations at their own pace, this program can accommodate a wide variety of ages, but it is most recommended for ages 2-6.
Game Room - Drop-In Activity
Come and experience alternative recreation such as pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, board games, and more! Challenge friends and family to a new-to-you game of skill and fun. Youth 8 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian that is over the age of 16.
Schoen Creek Hike
Join the naturalist for this 3-mile hike on Schoen Creek Trail while visitors search for some winter wildlife. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. This hike will last approximately 2 hours.
Festival of Ice
The 2023 Festival of Ice features carving demonstrations by professional ice carvers. Head to Carmel where events include a Big Block carving competition, fast-paced carve-off on stage, a Carmel Fire Department chili cook-off, skating to a live DJ, and more!
Bilingual Storytime
Join the Ukrainian Society of Indiana for a bilingual storytime in English and Ukrainian. The program will last about 30 minutes but feel free to stay after to connect with other families and the Ukrainian community!
Children of all ages and their families will enjoy stories and songs in two languages–English and Ukrainian!
Disney on Ice
Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero returns to Gainbridge Fieldhouse this weekend. See Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and stars from Moana, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Tangled. Dress the kiddos up in their best Disney gear and prepare for non-stop smiles.
