The excitement of the Month of May is here, and one of Indianapolis’ favorite family traditions is back! The 500 Festival Kids’ Day & Rookie Run returns to Monument Circle on Saturday, May 9, with a full day of FREE activities, entertainment, games, and Indy 500 fun for kids of all ages.
Families can enjoy interactive exhibits, crafts, face painting, mascots, live performances, race cars, inflatables, and hands-on activities throughout downtown Indianapolis. Kids can even participate in the Rookie Run, a fun race designed especially for children ages 3–10, complete with medals and race-day excitement.
