Watch a Christmas Classic at the Historic Artcraft Theater

The Historic Artcraft Theater will be showing classic Christmas movies all throughout December. Choose from Die Hard, A Christmas Story, White Christmas, or National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Movies are shown on 35mm film, concessions are reasonably priced, and the marquee makes the perfect backdrop for photos.
Stroll Through the Carmel Christkindlmarkt

Romance fills the air at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt. Take in the sights, sounds, and smells of old-world German traditions. Enjoy some warm Gluhwein as you meander through the market, stopping by shops and finding the perfect gifts for your loved ones. Top off the evening with ice skating. Hold on tight to your partner as you slide across the ice surrounded by glowing Christmas lights and beautiful music.
Admire the Lights on Monument Circle

The month of December brings so much magic to Monument Circle. The lights covering the Soldiers and Sailors Monument light up the night sky. All around the circle, you can find a variety of Christmas decorations and displays. Horse-drawn carriages are waiting to whisk you through the streets downtown. Pop into the South Bend Chocolate Company’s Chocolate Café for a coffee or hot chocolate to keep you warm. Grab some stocking stuffers at Rocket Fizz. The Hilbert Circle Theater will have performances all season long as well.

Indy has a multitude of holiday performances with something for everyone. Ballets, symphonies, theaters, and local musicians have live shows all over the city. There are six opportunities to cheer on the Indy Fuel during the month of December. Each game also has a great promotion to go with it. December’s themed games include Wintertainment, Ugly Sweater Night, Festivus, and All You Can Eat. We love the excitement of a hockey game! Watching the Fuel is great for a date night or for an outing with the whole family.
Colts vs. Chargers Prime Time Game
500 S. Capitol Ave, Indianapolis
On December 26, the Colts will take on the Chargers in a prime-time battle. The game starts at 8:15 pm. This will also be a promotional night with a blue out and a holiday giveaway. With the late start, be sure to grab dinner beforehand. You can find the Whistle Stop Inn within walking distance of the stadium. You can also check out any of the local breweries for great food and drinks.
Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at a SoChatti Bean to Bag Chocolate Making Class

Warm Up at Conservatory Crossing at Garfield Park Conservatory

Going to Garfield Park Conservatory on a cold day is a great way to experience the warmth of summer. The gardens are heated to provide the best climate for the exotic plants, but it also feels amazing when cold outside.
