Carmel High School’s National Chinese Honor Society is hosting a party on February 4th at the Carmel Clay Public Library. The party will feature Chinese calligraphy, paper cutting, musical performances, food, and more.
Kids’ Day at Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Show
On February 9th, head to the Suburban Indy Home & Outdoor Living Show for Kids’ Day! There will be a magician, balloon-twisting show, Dinosaur Dimensions show, and Princesses to sing, dance, and meet with!
LIVE! Presidents’s Day
Celebrate Presidents’ Day at the President’s home at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site. Live enactors engage with you as if it were 1891.

On February 22nd, the Epiphany Dance Collective – West African Drum and Dance takes you on an interactive journey to West African dance and music. This Peanut Butter & Jam session is designed for children ages 1-7.

Hit the ice rink, indoors or outdoors, at one of several Indy ice skating rinks. Going ice skating at an outdoor rink on a cold, crisp, and sunny day is one of my favorite things to do in Indianapolis in February!

Check out the Indy Fuel at their new hockey rink in Fishers! Join Nitro’s Kids Club and check out a special theme night in February. There are several to choose from!
Kids Eat Free

Join Big Blue Swim School swimming lessons and be pool-ready by summer! You might think there aren’t many things to do in Indianapolis in February, but preparing for summer swimming is a great idea!
Explore a Nature Center
Get up close with critters and view birds in their habitat. Visit your local nature center for an educational excursion. We love watching the squirrels and birds play in the snowy woods from the nature center’s bird-watching areas.
Go Snow Tubing
Head to Koteewi Seasonal Slopes to zoom down snow tubing slopes in Noblesville. There’s even a rope lift to bring you and your tube back up the hill! Get in before it warms up!
Slide at a Free Indoor Playground
Check out our list of FREE indoor playgrounds in and near Indy. When it’s too cold to play outside, climb, jump, and run off that energy indoors. We love a free activity!
Ride a Toboggan
Fly down a Toboggan Run! 2.5 hours from Indy, Pokagon State Park offers 1,780-foot-long refrigerated twin tracks for an epic adventure. While at Pokagon State Park, you can also try snowshoeing!
