If you have yet to see a movie at Carmel’s Flix Brewhouse, it’s time you upgrade your movie-going experience. This popular venue is known for showing both new releases and classics you have always wished you had another chance to see on the big screen. Best of all, you can settle in for your film with a full meal of delicious food and even a house-brewed beer. Sure, you can grab your movie theater staples like popcorn and soda, but you should know that french fries and pizzas are fantastic.
Kid-Friendly Summer Movies at Flix Brewhouse Carmel
Flix Brewhouse offers its $5 Flix Jr Series on Tuesdays in June, July, and through the beginning of August. Tickets and seats can be reserved in advance online. Films are each shown three times on their scheduled day, at 11 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm. In addition to $5 per person admission, you can purchase kids’ meals for just $5 each. The theater will also have activity sheets available for kids and will reduce the movie volume to account for sensitive ears.
We love it when theaters offer free or cheap summer movies for kids! In fact, if you have kids who are less-practiced cinema patrons, these discounted children’s films are a great opportunity to try out the whole movie theater experience.
While there’s something special about watching a new-to-you or a favorite movie on the big screen, we all know that kids of all ages can be unpredictable. Date Nights at Flix Brewhouse
The classic “dinner and a movie” date becomes more literal at Flix. Where else can you have dinner AND a movie simultaneously? Flix is always showing new releases, so you can catch the latest blockbuster while enjoying burgers, pizza, fish and chips, and more delicious offerings.
Flix also regularly hosts Flix Picks — showings of previous fan-favorite releases and classic films. These are typically only shown on one night only or for a short run, so keep an eye on their calendar! The theater sometimes turns these movies into fun experiences, offering themed food and beverages, games, or souvenirs.
