Holliday Park Seasonal Outdoor Ice Rink

As if Indianapolis winter celebrations don’t already look like they jumped right out of a Hallmark movie, have you heard about the outdoor ice skating rink at Holliday Park in Indianapolis? After opening for the first time in 2022, it’s back for another year!

Opening day for the 2023-2024 season is November 24! The Ice Rink at Holliday Park closes on February 29.

Holliday Park Ice Skating

Indianapolis’ Holliday Park is a real treasure throughout the year, but the cooler months just got promoted. The Holliday Park Ice Rink will be a real ice rink, not a synthetic version. Look for the rink to be built on the lawn at the Holliday Park Nature Center. Your family can skate from Thanksgiving weekend through the end of February, similar to other local ice skating opportunities, like the Christkindlmarkt in Carmel.

Ice skate rental will be available on-site, or you can bring your own skates. The rental facilities take over several of the classroom spaces inside the Nature Center and are conveniently located near the restrooms.

The Winter Club of Indianapolis is offering ice skating lessons at Holliday Park’s ice rink. You can sign up for a series of classes or one-off pop-up/drop-in style classes for $25 each. Register now.
