Local businesses across the nation are facing the threat of significantly reduced foot traffic and sales due to the current regulations regarding Covid-19. We are currently living in an uncertain time and even with the new normal that is to come next month here in Indiana, many businesses have already seen the impact of closing their doors to consumers.
Cookie Decorating Kits
As most retailers are shut down, we are seeing more small, local businesses becoming creative to maintain a somewhat normalcy for their customers and for their business. As a consumer myself in central Indiana, I enjoy supporting local businesses, especially during this uncertain time. Local bakeries have come up with a creative way to keep their doors open for business and give locals and activity and a treat!
Nosh Dessert Parlour
The dessert parlour is in the heart of downtown Mooresville, it is offering all of their bakery goods to go. They are currently offering DIY Sugar Cookie Kits that include:
- 6 Cookie shapes from the list provided on their Facebook & Instagram pages.
- 4 Bags of colorful icing.
- 2 Sprinkle blends.
I recently purchased a custom DIY Cookie Kit from Nosh for my religious holiday. They were a big hit with my boys; they enjoyed decorating the cookies and using lots of sprinkles to make their masterpiece. The kits provide a creative and delicious way to keep your kids minds engaged while school is out, religious places of worship and activities are closed.
