Fishers Agripark | Real Farm Park with Free Produce

Grow, explore and learn at Fishers AgriPark, a wonderland of agriculture science and fun!

Opening in July of 2020, this 33-acre park features seasonal u-pick fields and crops for the public, animals, a nature themed playground, 2 barns, a nature trail and more all focused on educating visitors on agriculture, nature, and science!

Visit the Working Farm at Fishers Agripark

With a brand-new playground and two new barns all opening in 2025, the AgriPark has evolved into a year-round attraction for all ages in hopes to educate future generations on the importance of farming.

When visiting the AgriPark make sure to check in at the welcome stand by the first barn. Depending on the season and weather, staff will direct you to the different amenities of the park including the fields for u-pick, animal viewing areas, the outdoor play spaces and the activity barns.

During the harvest season, staff will give you baskets to pick your produce in. These baskets are to ensure that the fields aren’t being over picked and there is also a limit of what can be picked per household.  Staff will also inform guests on what is ripe to be picked and what section of the gardens, fields, and greenhouses can be accessed for u-pick.

When planning on visiting the fields make sure to follow their social media to make sure there isn’t any closures for inclement weather. The fields can be muddy so make sure to dress accordingly.

Animal Encounters

I am like a giddy child whenever I see animals. I seriously love farm animals probably as much as a small child does and being able to see and interact with these animals add an added level to your experience at Fishers AgriPark.

Guests to Fishers AgriPark will love having the opportunity to interact with the park’s animal residents of cattle, sheep, chickens, goats, a horse and a pig.  These animal encounters allow guests to learn how animals are essential to Indiana’s agriculture while giving them the opportunity to interact with the animals up close near their enclosures or to view them grazing in their pasture.

Play at Fishers Agripark

Children learn best through playing and through hands-on experiences. What better way to learn about nature, farming and science then being immersed in the AgriPark’s outdoor play area. This outdoor play area connects kids to nature through safe, engaging, and hands-on play with a brand-new play structure, a sensory garden,

In summer 2025, the Fishers AgriPark unveiled a brand-new play structure built using Indiana black locust wood, a durable and sustainable material known for its natural resistance to wear and weather.

This brand-new nature inspired play structure encourages imaginative play with multiple different features with ladders, a rock wall, a climbing net, wooden balance beams and suspension bridges that kids love to jump and sway on.

Kids can test their agility, balance and coordination playing on the tire course with various sized and grooved tires to climb on for gross motor play. There is also a sand pit with a multilevel tractor-tire tower and sand diggers for sand play.

Little chefs will love the mud kitchen station with the nearby water basin that allows for imaginative play, messy fun, and endless creativity.

Make sure to stop by the free library and grab a book, then settle in on one of the many picnic tables for a great spot to sit and relax and maybe snack on some of your freshly picked produce.

The Sensory Garden offers a welcoming space for children of all ages and abilities. Stroll through the sensory path filled with planter boxes of aromatic and edible plants that engage the senses and enjoy making music and hearing different sounds from the interactive music wall.

Find Creative Activities in the Barns

In 2025, Fishers AgriPark open two new barn attractions. These spaces create additional opportunities to educate and entertain guests.

The first barn includes indoor restroom facilities, and areas to be used for classroom and programming space, and for a market store that will offer seasonal produce and goods from local vendors.

Escape the Heat on the Nature Trail

For those hot summer days, there is a nice, shaded nature trail that offers a peaceful walk through the woods. This short, five-minute stroll on the connects the nature playground to the livestock pasture.

Events at Fishers Agripark

The Fishers Agripark offers plenty of events throughout the year, most of which focus on agriculture, gardening, and healthy living. Keep an eye on their calendar for themes and topics that catch your interest.

Events at the Agripark are typically educational in nature and some allow participants to get creative with make-and-take projects. The Farm to Table series includes cooking instruction using fresh produce. Past classes and workshop themes have included wreath-making, herb gardening, beekeeping, farm animals, invasive plant removal, and more! There is sometimes a fee associated and registration is usually required, so plan ahead.

  1. From what I see and read this Aripark is mainly for children; is that correct. I don;t see senior;s or parents taking part. Please explain what there is for adults to do out there as well. JoAnn

    1. Adults can do all of the same things. Our website exists to share what there is to do with children which is why you don’t see parents or seniors taking part, however adults can do the exact same things. Hope that helps.
