While visiting, you’ll find so many things to do in Carmel. Take a stroll along the Monon Trail, which runs right through Midtown and is perfect for walking, biking, or scooter rides. Kids love stopping to watch the trains pass by or playing a quick game of tag on the grassy areas.
Midtown Plaza itself features interactive play areas, life-size games like giant Connect Four and ping pong, splash fountains in warmer months, and cozy seating areas for relaxing or picnicking. It’s a great spot to burn some energy or just unwind with a drink.
Grab a treat or meal from nearby favorites like Sun King Brewery (yes, they have a family-friendly menu), Java House for coffee and lemonade, or Fork + Ale House with its outdoor seating.
You can also pop into the Carmel Clay Public Library, which is just a short walk away and has a fantastic kids’ area and frequent family programming.
