Gymboree Play & Music offers many classes for babies and toddlers to support their development through play and music. Their birthday party packages are incredible! They include exclusive use of the facility for 90 minutes or more, party invitations, themed activities, goodie bags, a dedicated teacher, and a special birthday present for the birthday baby.

Urban Chalkboard

The Urban Chalkboard is a learning studio and play cafe perfect for your child’s first birthday party! The young party guests will have so much fun exploring the intentionally designed learning spaces. You can either rent out the entire facility or just the studio area. A dedicated Play Coach will help your party guests get the most out of their time at the Urban Chalkboard. Make sure to check their availability in advance, as the facility is only available for party rentals at specific times during each week.

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

The Children’s Museum is a great spot to host your child’s first birthday party, especially if there will be various ages of children attending. Kids of all ages love the Children’s Museum!  There are multiple party packages and ala carte options, such as cake. The Playscape is designed for kids 5 and under and has a special area designed just for babies.

Kids Planet

Kids Planet is an indoor family recreation center in Brownsburg that offers fun for all ages. The play area is enormous, and includes a separate Infant Playground specifically for children 3 years old and under. Big siblings will have a blast on the multilevel Big Kids Playground that includes slides, ball pits, tunnels and more. They offer multiple birthday party packages, and many of them include invitations, food, drinks, and themed decorations.

Carter’s Play Place

Carter’s Play Place is all inclusive play space for kids of all abilities and all ages. The facility includes a wide variety of options for play, including preschool toys, swings, and slides. Multiple birthday packages are available, but all of them include access to the play area, goodie bags, a birthday gift for the birthday baby, and free popcorn. Party guests get full access to the play space as well as the parent’s lounge.

Holliday Park

There is so much to do and experience at Holliday Park! The Nature Center features Habitat Hall, which offers young children many fun ways to experience nature through play. On warm days the littles can enjoy splashing in the water table and exploring the beautiful park. Older party guests will love the playground. Food and drinks are permitted in the classrooms, which are available to rent. If you’d rather keep the party outside, simply enjoy partying at one of the picnic tables, which are free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Eagle Creek Park

If you love hosting outdoor parties and are looking for a beautiful spot, consider renting a shelter at Eagle Creek Park. There 15 covered shelters available. All shelters include picnic tables and at least one grill, and many are close to public restrooms and playgrounds.

Splash Island at Plainfield Recreation Center

If your little one loves the water, plan a party at Splash Island!  It features many different water-based attractions, including an infant/toddler area, lazy river, fountains, and slides. There are two areas available to rent for birthday parties. There is so much to do at this water park – your guests will have a blast, and so will you!

Greenwood Community Center – Kid City

Kid City in the Greenwood Community Center is a two-story indoor play space for children. The activity centers in Kid City incorporate educational themes, art, science and music. You can choose to either rent out Kid City in its entirety after-hours or rent an activities room for the party and give party guests access to Kid City.
