Freedom Springs Aquatics Park

With Freedom Springs Aquatics Park, Greenwood created an experience you can’t find anywhere else: taller slides with more twists and turns, a lazy river, cabanas and shelters for groups and large parties, an “island” that functions as a stage for live music performances, and much more.
Greenwood’s aquatic center has quickly become a summer staple for residents and visitors across the state. Freedom Springs hosts a number of public events, adult-only nights, family fun nights, and the season-ending Puppy POOLooza event, when our furry friends get their chance to enjoy the water.

Summer Concert Series
Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park
Get ready for a summer celebration with fantastic food trucks, refreshing beer, and wine from Oaken Barrel Brewing Co. and Mallow Run Winery.
Nearly every Saturday evening between June and August, hundreds of Greenwood residents, visitors, and their families gather with lawn chairs, blankets, and snack-filled coolers to enjoy live performances spanning a variety of musical genres.
Concerts take place at the Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park at 7 pm.
Freedom Festival

Greenwood’s Freedom Festival draws more than 50,000 people to Craig Park every summer to celebrate the American Spirit with Indiana’s best fireworks show.
The fun begins at 4 pm with the very popular Festival Parade, followed by live music on the event lawn stage from 5:30-10 pm.
Food and vendor booths are available, and don’t forget the Kids Zone where you can find all-day use of inflatables for just $10 per person. Additional attractions are also available for a small additional fee.
At 10:15, enjoy the K.O.R.N Country 100.3 Musical Fireworks Blast Off!
Just PLANE Fun

Featuring free aircraft rides for kids, a military simulator, and hands-on displays from Greenwood’s Police and Fire Departments, Just PLANE Fun is one of the community’s most popular annual events.

Greenwood Mud Day

Ever wish when you were a kid that you were allowed to play in the mud?? Well on May 31 from 10-11am or 12-1pm bring your littles ages 2-10 out to Freedom Park and play in the mud with us! Admission is Free! Monetary donations are welcomed to benefit the Parks Foundation. So come out, get messy and have some fun with us and the Greenwood Fire Department as we mud up some ground and dive in!
