From the Summer Concert Series, to the events like Mud Day and Just PLANE fun, Greenwood’s events are heating up Indy this summer!
Freedom Springs Waterpark
2023 Season May 27 – September 4
With Freedom Springs, Greenwood created an experience you can’t find anywhere else: taller slides with more twists and turns, a lazy river, cabanas and shelters for groups and large parties, an “island” that functions as a stage for live music performances, and much more.
Greenwood’s aquatic center has quickly become a summer staple for both residents and visitors from across the state. Freedom Springs hosts a number of public events, adult-only nights and the season-ending Puppy POOLooza event, when our furry friends get their chance to enjoy the water.
Summer 2023 Hours of Operation
Monday-Saturday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 6 p.m.
Thrilling Thursdays: Open until 10 p.m. until school goes back in session.
Summer Concert Series
Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park
Get ready for a summer celebration with fantastic food trucks, refreshing beer, and wine from Oaken Barrel Brewing Co. and Mallow Run Winery.
Nearly every Saturday evening between June/August, and September/October hundreds of Greenwood residents, visitors, and their families gather with lawn chairs, blankets, and snack-filled coolers to enjoy live performances spanning a variety of musical genres.
Concerts take place at the Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park.
Freedom Festival

We Kick off the festivities at 4:00 p.m. with our very popular parade.
Enjoy Live Music at the Event Lawn from 5:30-9 pm and Honor our Heroes from 9:15-10 pm.
KIDSZONE IS BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!
Enjoy all-day use of inflatables for just $10 per person. Additional attractions are also available for a small additional fee.
End the evening with the K.O.R.N Country 100.3 Musical Fireworks Blast Off!!
Just PLANE Fun

Featuring free aircraft rides for kids, a military simulator, and hands-on displays from Greenwood’s Police and Fire Departments, Just PLANE Fun is one of the community’s most popular annual events.

Greenwood Mud Day

Ever wish when you were a kid that you were allowed to play in the mud?? Well on June 2 from 10-11am or 12-1pm bring your littles ages 2-10 out to Freedom Park and play in the mud with us! Admission is Free! Monetary donations are welcomed to benefit the Parks Foundation. So come out, get messy and have some fun with us and the Greenwood Fire Department as we mud up some ground and dive in!
