The town of Greenfield, located east of Indianapolis, has plenty of fun and exciting choices for your next date night. You will find several historic buildings in the charming, downtown area. There are also beautiful parks to explore and delicious restaurants to try out. Bring your date to Greenfield, and try out some of the fun things they have to offer!
Carnegie’s A Place to Eat
100 W. North Street, Greenfield
Carnegie’s is a fun place to take a date, partly because the food is amazing and partly because the restaurant is housed in a historic library. This cozy ambience is only a portion of the reasons to be excited to eat here. The restaurant has its own herb garden they use for their recipes, and meat eaters and vegetarians alike can both find something great on the menu. If you prefer to dine al fresco, head out to the romantic garden patio and enjoy your meal in the fresh air.
Zapp! Thai Restaurant
2045 N. State Street, Greenfield
Zapp makes getting Thai food easy and fun. The dishes are nicely plated, and the cocktails are beautifully presented as well. You will find an extensive wine list and full bar here. I love Greek food for a date night. Costa’s is a must-visit for their generous portions of delicious food, in addition to their excellent service. If you have never tried Greek food before, make sure to order the Saganaki. It is a cheese dish that is brought to the table, then set on fire, making it a memorable experience for your date. All of the favorite Greek standbys can be found here, such as pastichio, moussaka, falafel, and gyros. The Greek style chicken can’t be missed either. Opa!
117 Apple Street, Greenfield
The Mug is ready for you to come by for a more casual dining experience. Perfect for those warmer months, the Mug has plenty of outdoor seating for you to enjoy a pork tenderloin, burger, or specialty hot dog. The food is all “farm to curb,” locally-sourced and made from scratch. This is not your typical drive-in style restaurant. The quality is unmatched, and the prices are super affordable. We suggest finishing off your meal with a root beer float!
