When the last of the pumpkins have been picked and the last leaves have fallen, it’s time to get ready for Christmas events at Kelsay Farms. This family farm is in Whiteland, just over 20 minutes from downtown Indy, and is best known for its fall festivities. However, the Holiday Stroll is a beautiful and creative take on a traditional holiday light display that’s perfect for a family-friendly night out.
Christmas Events at Kelsay Farms
Wonder as you wander through the Kelsay family farm for a magical holiday experience. Bring your cameras for larger-than-life decorations to capture larger-than-life memories! Relax amongst the lights and the trees while sipping your hot cocoa by a warm campfire. If you still need a family photo for the front of your Christmas card, you can take your pick from over 45 lovely holiday backdrops, homemade with love by the owners and staff of Kelsay Farms.
Just for the kids—Visit the “Little Christmas Village” and participate in the Whoville Hunt Scavenger Hunt.
The Holiday Stroll at Kelsay Farms is open Friday-Sunday, 6-9 pm beginning on December 1. Visit during the week of December 18-22. December 23 will be closing night, so don’t miss your last chance for festive photo ops just a few days before Christmas.

Holiday Stroll ticket prices are just $8 per person for ages 2 and up. Children 23 months and younger are free.
Looking for a fun Holiday event for your mom’s group, church, scout troop, or other group? Kelsay Farms offers special pricing for groups of 25 guests or more. If you’re coming with a crowd, tickets are just $6 per person.

- Is the event heated or not? Mostly not, but we will have some indoor heated space and campfires.
- What are the light displays like? Not traditional as you might be thinking! We have worked to create over 45 backdrops and displays that do include lights, but they are all themed and homemade with lots of love!
- Is the Holiday Stroll for kids and families? Definitely family-focused just like our Fall Season! More things to look at and less things to play on!
- Are there activities for the kids? Yes! Cookie decorating, Scavenger hunt, Christmas wish trees, Live Nativity animals, and a few appearances over the season by the big guy in red himself!
- What does the price include? The same concept as our Fall Season – one admission price includes everything except snacks!
- Can you tell us more about the snacks? You bet! Hot cocoa, Christmas cookies, and a few other sweet treats to buy and enjoy at home!
- Is there anything else we should know? A festive indoor space that can be reserved for Holiday parties, the Holiday Shop, Live carolers, and Photos with Santa – the calendar will be published soon with these details!
- Are there places to take photos? This entire idea has been inspired by the teenage girls in our home! We will have plenty of photo ops and Instagrammable moments!
- What are your hours? Weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) from 6-9 pm starting December 1 and closing on December 23. We will be open the few days of the week leading up to Christmas.
