Walk Through Christmas Light Displays
The Circle of Lights
Monument Circle, Downtown Indianapolis
November 24, 2023-January 12, 2024
Even if you miss the spectacular tree lighting ceremony the day after Thanksgiving, you can still visit the Circle of Lights through the holiday season. A special nightly “Shining A Light” presentation will start at 6:30, 8, and 10 pm nightly to accompany the lights on Monument Circle. There are so many things to do at Monument Circle during the holidays.

Conservatory Crossing at Garfield Park Conservatory

Stay cozy while enjoying the lights this holiday season! Garfield Park Conservatory presents Conservatory Crossing, a display of holiday poinsettias and lights throughout a festive train layout. Forget the cold and snow and enjoy hundreds of poinsettias, thousands of lights, and stunning plants from the rainforest. Advanced ticket purchase requested. This display runs until December 31.
Admission: $5 per person, $12 per family (max two adults), children 2 & under are free.
Christmas at The Zoo

Special Hours: Open until 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, CLOSED on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
Immerse yourself in all that the Zoo has to offer this holiday season. Enjoy the Tunnel of Lights, Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, Santa’s Barn, and thousands of holiday lights.
Admission: $15 and up. Children under 2 are free, and members are admitted for free.
Newfields Winterlights

Experience the wonder of over a million lights in this immersive outdoor experience at Newfields. Dancing lights set to music, tasty holiday treats, and a whimsical terrace are just a few of the experiences available to enjoy. Timed tickets are required, and entry times will vary.
Admission: $15 and up, depending on age and membership status.
Indianapolis Christmas Carnival

December 1-3, 8-10, & 15-24, 6-9 pm
Waterman’s Farm is home to plenty of fall fun, but their Christmas event is back for a second year, with a bit of rebranding. Waterman’s Winter Wonderland was the first annual walk-through light display. The event is now called the Indianapolis Christmas Carnival and features a giant snow tube slide, photo booths, concessions, and character meet-and-greets, in addition to the light displays. This event offers something for everyone in the family!
Admission: $12.95 and up, based on age and package selection.
Hamilton County Walk Through Christmas Lights
A Merry Prairie Holiday

From Carter Green to Main Street along the Monon Greenway, Carmel
Enjoy a free, outdoor walkway of holiday lights in the heart of Carmel. You can hop on and off the trail to shop the eats and treats in City Center, Midtown, or the Arts & Design district.

Johnson County Walk Through Christmas Lights
The Holiday Stroll at Kelsay Farms

While not a traditional light display, Kelsay Farms invites you to The Holiday Stroll for a magical holiday experience that includes plenty of sparkly lights. Plan to take lots of photos with a variety of vignettes designed to be beautiful, festive backdrops to your Christmas memories. Concessions and warm campfires are available to help you stay cozy while exploring the displays. You may even catch of glimpse of Santa on select nights!

Lighted Trail

Hendricks County Walk Thru Christmas Lights
Lights with the Alpacas

Friday & Saturday evenings through December 30th, 6 – 8:30 pm
Dress warm and festive as you walk around the farm touring the 45,000 lights twinkling. Bring your camera for a photo opportunity with the Alpacas, feed the Alpacas, and meet the sweet Flemish Giant rabbits.
