Where Can You Rent a Private Island in Indiana?
Beautiful Lake Wawasee is the largest natural lake in the state of Indiana. With this rental, you’ll have a 1.7-acre island to yourself and up to 20 of your closest friends.
The beautiful Wawasee Island has a swimming area that’s out of the way of boat traffic.
There are two buildings on the property for you and your guests to enjoy. The main house has a main bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with two queen beds, and a third bedroom with a pair of beds on a loft above two queen beds.
The bunk house has a living room with a pull-out sofa and a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, each with a twin on top and a full on the bottom. Teens or even a whole family will love having their own space in the bunkhouse.
The main house on the island has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large common area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large screened-in porch.
One of the bedrooms in the main house is perfect for grouping a large family or letting the kids do their own thing.
You’ll have pier space for your watercraft or boats (BYOB – Bring your own boat). Just minutes away by foot, boat, or car, you’ll have access to bars, restaurants, and shopping.
We’re excitedly making a plan for our summer trip with our best friends, Matt & Sam and the plan is full of ideas. We’ll be visiting the nearby perfumery, a few nights out, and maybe some golf for the guys. We want to rent boats and swim and anything else we can find to do with the kids. However, I think I’m most excited for fun evenings on the porch, laughing and playing games with the kids, and then late nights telling stories, listening to music, and drinking cocktails with just the adults.
As for the bunkhouse? We’re auditioning for friends to join us 🙂 Or, maybe we’ll hire a nanny for the week. Send applications our way!
