I know we talk about the Indiana State Fair a lot at Indy With Kids, but really, what’s not to love? My favorite parts are the fair food, the animals, and playing Beango at the Glass Barn with my kids!
What’s your favorite part of the fair? Email and let me know!
There really is so much to do at the fair, and much of it is completely FREE. We never miss old favorites like Little Hands on the Farm, and we love to explore new favorites like the World of Speed in the Harvest Pavillion. With classic Indiana-made cars, celebrity car appearances (including the Batmobile, the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, and more) plus SPEED: Science in Motion Exhibit, an ALL NEW attraction to the State Fair, you won’t want to skip your pit stop to World of Speed!
I also want to personally invite you to join my family for a FREE family friendly concert at Mallow Run Winery, tonight, August 12 for the 5th Annual Music Therapy Rocks! Silent Auction and Concert. This event is very important to me because it supports Music Therapy services at Riley Hospital for Children.
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in Indy, let’s #PlayIndy.

The Mini-Mini | Running Event for Ages 5-12
There’s a running race for kids that my children always talk about. The Mini-Mini from the 500 Festival really made an impression on them a few years ago and they can’t wait to be a part of it again!
Traditionally, the 500 Festival mini-mini kids’ run draws hundreds of young runners and cheering fans to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This year, the virtual mini-mini will continue to provide Indiana’s youth with a memorable running experience—from anywhere! This event is recommended for kids ages 5-12.
