Bowling alleys have been around for decades, and have provided generations of people with hours of family fun. With the expansive entertainment options available now, sometimes it’s hard to remember to go back to the basics and have some good old family fun. Bowling is a timeless sport and easy for all members of the family to do! We’ve put together a list of the best bowling alleys around Indianapolis, and why we love them.

Pinheads- Alley’s Alehouse

13825 Britton Park Road, Fishers

Pinheads is located in Fishers on the north side, and is an awesome bowling alley. You’ll find a large number of bowling lanes, a dance floor, and an arcade for the kids to enjoy. They also offer a very nice restaurant with service to your bowling lane, so you can eat while you play. There are specials throughout the week, so you can have fun without breaking the bank. Don’t forget to check out their sand volleyball courts on open play nights outside!

Royal Pin Woodland

3421 E. 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240

Royal Pin Woodland is located off 96th street in Indianapolis, and has 70 bowling lanes available! They offer cosmic bowling, which is an out-of-this-world experience where you can bowl with black lights and neon lighting. They also have Laser Tag available for you to enjoy after you’re done bowling. If that’s not enough fun, check out the mini golf and the arcade games as well! Their full menu offers plenty of food options that will be sure to please everyone in the family.

Bowl 32

845 Westfield Road, Noblesville

Bowl 32 is located in Noblesville and offers open bowling 7 days a week. They also have an arcade, mini golf, and laser tag on site for a whole day of fun. If you are looking for a birthday party venue, they host them and have a party package available on their website. They offer a variety of food options, so even the pickiest eater will find something to eat! They have bowling leagues available as well for all ages.

Hindel Bowl

6833 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis

Hindel Bowl is located in the Pendleton Pike area in Indianapolis. They have bowling leagues available almost every day of the week, in addition to their open-bowl times. Their restaurant inside features a variety of food, such as pizza, fries, and macaroni and cheese. They have several different bowling leagues available, in addition to their open-bowl time frames. They have a birthday bowling club that you can sign up for online, which will get you some special deals (and even free bowling!) for your birthday.

Royal Pin Expo

5261 Elmwood Avenue, Indianapolis

Royal Pin Expo is located in Beech Grove and is the perfect spot for your next family day out. In addition to bowling lanes, they have laser tag available as well. They host birthday parties and offer family specials and promotions based on the day and time you plan to visit. They offer a discount for children 12 and under as an added savings all week long!

Brownsburg Bowl

18 Whittington Drive, Brownsburg

Brownsburg bowl is located on the west side of Indianapolis, in the heart of Brownsburg. Strike Force Lanes is located in Greenfield on the east side of Indianapolis. They offer a 32-lane bowling alley, with a variety of bowling options. They have 80 bowling lanes, so plenty of room even on a busy weekend. In addition to open bowl times, they offer birthday party packages and bowling leagues that meet weekly. Action Duckpin Bowl

Located in Fountain Square is a unique bowling experience that you must try! Duckpin bowling is the traditional setup with pins and a bowling ball but scaled down to a miniature size. This is a fun spin on traditional bowling that your kids will love. They have a full restaurant available to order a meal from while you play or take a break. Parking is free and they are open 7 days a week. Walk-ins are welcome, but a reservation is recommended before you go.
