CR Hero’s is a local favorite and for good reason! Locally owned and operated, they offer a variety of bar style food, as well as fun events throughout the week. Tuesdays are kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal, from 5 pm-close. They also have face painting and balloon artists during this time. Wednesdays are free cookie days and they have a little game room for the children to play in inside the restaurant as a fun bonus.
Ale Emporium

Unlike the Castleton location, Ale Emporium in Geist allows children. They are locally known for awesome wings, a great atmosphere, and great specials. This restaurant is very kid friendly and also offers a lot of sports, and unique food for the adults (and kids!)
Another Broken Egg Cafe

This cute little brunch spot is located in the heart of downtown Fishers, and has a variety of kid friendly food available on the menu. If you have never been before, Another Broken Egg offers free beignets to first time guests, as well as a fun scratch off coupon for your next visit. The service here is amazing, the coffee is always hot, and they offer a unique variety of adult beverages and locally sourced food.
BIPIBOP Asian Grill

This restaurant is brand new to the Fishers food scene, and has entered with a bang! Everyone loves this place, for its delicious food and unique menu options. This is a create-your-own-dish-style restaurant, where you get to pick your base and then add additional toppings to make an Asian infused bowl. My kids love this place because you get to pick exactly what you want, and it’s affordable but still tastes delicious. BIPIBOP is located in The District, where you will also find places to shop and walk around after your meal.
Aurelio’s Pizza of Fishers

Aurelio’s is an awesome pizza joint, with in-house made pizza. They have a great family environment with a large dining room to accommodate everyone, in addition to a party room that you can rent. They have a variety of tasty options on the menu including sandwiches, pasta, and multiple styles of pizza freshly made everyday.
Portillo’s

Portillos is a very unique dining experience that is a great place to take kids. You order yourself at the front, and then find a table while watching the Chicago style kitchen work it’s magic! They offer Italian beef sandwiches, pizza, pasta, burgers, and are famous for their hotdogs! We love going here because of the fun environment. They have a variety of memorabilia hanging on the walls including famous people that have eaten there, sports memorabilia, and more. They have amazing in-house made chocolate cake that you must try, and also offer outdoor patio seating.
Goodfella’s

If you are looking for a great pizza place to try, give Goodfella’s a shot on your next family night. They have a great atmosphere, and even will give your kids a piece of raw pizza dough to play with while waiting on their meal. It’s a fun and unique way to enjoy pizza night!
City Barbecue

My family loves going to City Barbecue, they have authentic in-house smoked meat, traditional southern sides, and a fun dining room with a board, game closet to pick from. They also have outdoor patio dining available for nice days. They offer a family sized banana pudding dessert which is a must when you go!
Alley’s Alehouse

When you think bowling alley food, you might think traditional pizza and soda. However, Alley’s Alehouse is an upscale dining experience located inside Pinheads bowling alley in Fishers. They have amazing food, craft beer, and a great atmosphere. A huge bonus of course is an arcade and bowling alley right outside the restaurant, for a fun family day out.
Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse is a great place for a fun family night out. Unlimited peanuts and hot bread are ready as soon as you sit down, which is an instant hit with my crew. They offer a saddle ride for birthdays with a fun shout out in the restaurant, and a kids menu with lots of great options at even better prices.
Bubba’s 33

Bubba’s has a unique selection of food–fried pickles, pizza, nachos, and more–there is something for even the pickiest of eaters. They have a good variety on their kid’s menu, as well as specials throughout the week.
Murphy’s Pubhouse

Murphy’s is a great option for upscale steaks, spirits, burgers and pizza. They are a family friendly pubhouse, with specials throughout the week including Saturday night live music, Two for Tuesday steak night, and specials for fillets on Thursdays. They also participate in the local schools’ dine to donate program, and are passionate about giving back to the community.
The Roost

The Roost is part of the SAHM’S family of local restaurants, and is our families favorite brunch spot. They offer huge portions and have great prices, which is perfect for kids with endless appetites! This local diner has great breakfast and lunch food, and has that small town feel, where everybody knows you, which I love.
Crumbl Cookies

They offer a rotating selection of locally made ice cream, dole whips that taste just like the ones in Disney, and warm and freshly made create your own donuts. With it being walking distance to Brook School Park, it’s a perfect family outing for play time and treat time!

It’s a great place to take a large family because there are so many different food choices available and you can easily choose from any restaurant, as they all share the same dining space. Connected to this dining space is also a family friendly Sun King Brewery, where the adults can grab a beverage fresh from the tap.
Rails Craft Brew and Eatery

Rails is a family friendly neighborhood restaurant with a craft brew bar. They offer typical American cuisine, but also a Sunday breakfast from 9 AM to 2 PM where you can order all you can eat style or à la carte. They offer all of your favorite breakfast items, in addition to the normal American cuisine at lunch and dinner throughout the week. Patio seating is also available, and a small park is just across the street to play with the kids while you wait or after you eat.

This Mexican restaurant is locally owned, delicious, and a great option on a budget. They have affordable food choices, a kids menu, as well as great specials throughout the week. Patio seating is also available, and the entire environment is very kid friendly.
