Near Indy: You Can Get a Pizza That’s As Big As a Kid!

If you love pizza AND you love unique, you’ll want to check out this awesome pizza and wings place, just west of Indianapolis in Brownsburg.

The Biggest Pizza in Indy

Our west side readers keep saying they love their local pizza place, Panoony’s. It tops the list for best pizza in Hendrick’s County. Part of the reason people love this pizza is that it’s a bit of a novelty. They’re best known for their Big Noony. It’s a 30-inch pizza, a GIANT pizza, that can be made exactly as you like, with up to four different types of pizzas on one giant crust.

Be sure that you have space in your vehicle to bring home the Big Noony. I had to fold down the backseat of our van. The Big Noony does not fit through the side door of our house, but it does fit through the front door…barely. Once inside the house, it doesn’t fit through the interior doors without turning it on its side a little bit. It’s also important to note that Panoony’s requests that you order your Big Noony 24 hours in advance so they can be sure they have it ready for you. It is, after all, their ever-popular giant pizza.

Pair this new favorite with a garden salad, some garlic bread, and a 2-liter soda, and you have a party featuring one of the local top dishes.

Best Pizza Near Me

Since Pizza Hut and Papa John’s refuse to deliver to our neighborhood, we’re searching for the best pizza in the Indianapolis area. We’re taking this opportunity to support local restaurants and small businesses, AND the research is really fun. Panoony’s has a robust menu full of delicious pizza topping options as well as some of their very own specialty pizzas. When I asked if we could choose four different options for our Big Noony, they said yes! Even this wasn’t enough for our family to try all of the amazing pizza combinations that Panoony’s offers. We settled on mozzarella cheese pizza for the kids with unsophisticated palates, Zesty Sicilian, BBQ Chicken, and Chicken Bacon Ranch, baked to golden perfection.

The giant pizza can be cut party style into squares and rectangles; this is perfect. Can you even imagine how big those slices would be if they were cut in traditional triangles?! In addition to pizza, Panoony’s offers wings, subs, calzones, pasta, and salads. You can dine in, carry out, curbside pickup, or delivery if you live in the area.

There are so many toppings to choose from: pepperoni, black olives, BBQ sauce, Canadian bacon, red onions, mushrooms, feta cheese, salami, ground beef, Italian sausage, meatball, ricotta cheese, green peppers/bell pepper, and tomatoes. The list goes on and on for creating this great meal experience.

Just be sure you don’t have any leftovers if you choose takeout, this pizza box isn’t going to fit in your fridge. Visit them today!

Let me know in the comments where your family loves to get pizza. We’re also HUGE fans of Pizza King Station in Avon and Indianapolis.

Family Pizza Night

East of Indianapolis, you’ve got to check out Mozzi’s Pizza in Greenfield when indoor dining is fun again. Also on the East side in McCordsville, visit Daniel’s Vineyard and try their amazing flatbread pizzas.

During October, Papa Murphy’s has Jack O’lantern pizzas for Halloween. My kids love the pizza deals at Urban Air in Noblesville. You can even get free pizza every time you visit with a special membership.

Panoony’s has the best giant pizza in Indiana, and the best giant pizza in Indianpolis (area).

  1. New Bethel “The Ordinary” I call it home of the five pound pizza. The pizza is so thick you absolutely need a fork to eat it. The Ordinary is a quiet little bar in the small town of Wannamaker just southeast of Indy. You will absolutely love the pizza and the friendly hospitality of the staff. This is my number 1 pizza place. But I’m gonna take the family to try Panoony’s soon.
