The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis welcomes you to Witch Way Road Trip, the Children’s Museum Guild’s 60th Annual Haunted House. Join some spooky characters on a cross-country road trip to Boneyard Beach. Meet a whole host of villains, including witches, zombies, werewolves, and more as you explore this family-friendly haunted house. Choose from friendly “Lights On” hours and the spookier “Frightening Hours” for children who dare to be scared. Tickets are available online beginning September 10 and you do not need to purchase admission to the Children’s Museum to enter the haunted house. Haunted Conservatory
2432 Conservatory Dr, Indianapolis
On October 23 & 24, bring the little ones in their costumes for Halloween fun during less scary daylight hours of the Haunted Conservatory at Garfield Park. There will be no scarers. Just tropical plans all decked out for Halloween. From 7 pm – 9 pm, expect to get spooked as you walk through the conservatory, complete with scary music, decorations, and ghouls! The Haunted Conservatory is recommended for ages 8 and up. There will be strobe lights and artificial fog. Find more information on their Facebook page.
Haunted Indy Parks
In addition to the Haunted Conservatory, Indy Parks will also have haunted houses at Ellenberger Park and Indy Island Aquatic Center. Ellenberger Park will be having a haunted house Thursday through Saturday, October 24th to the 26th from 5 to 9 pm with admission being $7. Indy Island Aquatic Center will host their haunted house on Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday, October 27th from 5 to 9 pm with admission costing only $5. Indy Parks will also be giving away goodie bags to participants who complete the haunted houses. Indy Parks will also be having a Spooky Skate at Perry Park on Saturday, October 26 with a haunted skate from 7:30 to 9 pm and a friendly fright time available from 6 to 7:30 pm. The cost is $10 and that includes skate rentals, trick or treat, and entry into the haunted locker room!
Headless Horseman
13400 Allisonville Rd, Fishers
The Headless Horseman Festival at Conner Prairie has done it again. In addition to the infamous Headless Horseman hayride, they have incorporated a giant corn maze inspired by the legendary tale with three options varying from kid-friendly to an after-dark spooky labyrinth. You don’t want to get lost in this maze at night! This family-friendly event features bounce houses, pumpkin trains, corn pits, spooky shows, a tube slide, and more.
