Fall in Indianapolis is like any other season in this area — busy. There are exciting things to do and with the changing seasons, there’s no lack of fun! Here are 100 things you can do with your family, free things to do this fall in the Indianapolis area.

☑️ Wander through the Indianapolis Art Museum for free on the first Thursday.
☑️ Jam with the Fam at this Community Drum Circle.
☑️ See a free movie at the theater this weekend.
☑️  Celebrate Science at a giant festival dedicated to SCIENCE! This event is typically in person, but this year everyone is attending virtually on October 3rd.

☑️ See the stars at the observatory.

☑️ Swap your old costume for a new one!

☑️ Fall Colors Festival at McCloud Nature Park.
☑️  Science Fest day of fun at Indiana University is a free festival. Typically, this even takes place in person, but in 2020, this event is virtual on October 24th.

☑️ Doctoberfest is a Doctor Who-Centric Fall Festival.
☑️ Boo Bash is the place to be!

☑️ Rock and Roll at a Bongo Boy Drum Circle.
☑️ Check out an indoor trunk or treat event (coming soon).
