We just received word that Greenwood is no longer participating in this program. Cinemark still indicates that they are, but the theaters indicated that ever since they remodeled their theaters, they aren’t participating.

Every summer it seems like the amount of money we spend on doing things increases. My kids have a huge summer bucket list of things to do in Indy during the summer, so I’m always looking for a good deal or things to do in Indy for free. Cinemark Movies 8 Greenwood Corner has a great movie deal.
Do your kids love going to the movies? Mine sure do, and the cost for a family of six to go to the movies is astronomical! During the summer, several local Indy area movie theaters offer inexpensive movie tickets for kids as a part of their summer movie program.
The movies aren’t always the first run and sometimes my kids have even watched them on our streaming services, but the airconditioned movie theater and its giant screen are just such a treat for my kids. Often, there’s even a popcorn or drink deal that helps make the whole movie-going experience affordable.

Cinemark Movies 8 in Indianapolis offers 8 weeks of $1.50 for Summer Movies for kids! They call it their Summer Movie Clubhouse and tickets are available at the door. Movies begin at 10 am every Wednesday, June 21, 2023 – August 9, 2023. This is one of the best deals for summer fun in Indy.

How Much Are Summer Movies at Cinemark?
While the weekly price is $1.50 per person, for children and adults, in the past there’s been a punch card deal available for purchase. The punch card is still listed on the website but there’s no current information about purchasing it. The punch card is $10 and gets you into all of the summer movies. Only one person can use the punch card each week.
Summer Movie Clubhouse at Movies 8 Greenwood
Many families have loved the weekly summer program at the movie theater. The Movies 8 Greenwood participates in the Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse program which offers discounted movie tickets for families and children to enjoy some of their favorite family-friendly films on the big screen.
The movies shown as part of the Cinemark $1.50 movie program are all geared towards children and families and include popular titles from the past few years, but not typically newer movies. Only the advertised movies are part of the $1.50 Summer Movie Clubhouse program. All other movies at the theater are subject to regular admission prices.
Movie Theater Concession Deals
Cinemark Movies 8 in Greenwood has a concession stand deal to help you save even more money this summer. During the Summer Movie Clubhouse showtimes, you can save $1 off deals on kids’ snack packs or any size popcorn and drink combo.
Load up your car and hit the movie theater every Wednesday from June 21 through August 9th. Seats often fill up and are only available on a first-come, first-served basis. If your movie is sold out or you’re looking for something else to do, Kids Empire just opened up right behind Movies 8 Greenwood.

Movies 8 in Greenwood is not participating in this unfortunately. He said they haven’t since they remodelled a couple of years ago.
