Need a midweek pick-me-up? Daniel’s Vineyard has date night figured out on Wednesdays. Glasses of wine are $5 and pizza is half-price from 4-6 pm. Hang around afterward to try your hand at trivia starting at 6 pm every Wednesday. You can also plan to party with Daniel’s on St. Patrick’s Day with fun, live music, green wine, and amazing food choices. Daniel’s has fun covered for you all month long!

Indy Fuel Games

There are eight chances to watch our favorite hockey team this month. Indy Fuel games are an absolute blast and each game has an exciting promotion to go with it. The month of March brings Wizard Night, All You Can Eat Night, Racing Night, Spring Break, and so much more. We love the atmosphere of the game and the high energy the team brings to the ice. We know Fuel games are great for the kids, but adults can have just as much fun!

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festivities

Parade starts at North and Pennsylvania Streets, heads south to Ohio Street, and then back North on Meridian Street.

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17. Play hooky from work and bring your date to experience the parade. The parade begins at 11:30 am. Hit up the Parade Tent and Block Party starting at 9 am for some good eats from the food trucks. Grab an Irish beer, an Irish coffee, or maybe just some green beer. You are sure to hear plenty of exciting Irish music and see some great floats in the parade. If you have time, take a stroll along the canal to see the water dyed green. The Greening of the Canal takes place on March 16.

St. Patrick’s Day Bash at Metazoa Brewing Company

140 S. College Ave, Indianapolis

If celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Friday doesn’t work for your schedule, Metazoa has a solution for you. Their St. Patrick’s Day Bash is on March 18. This dog-friendly brewery is ready for you, your date, and your pup to enjoy a fun-filled day of green beer and great food. This free event features local vendors, a live DJ, a party tent, and a doggie costume contest! The brewery will be decorated for St. Patrick’s Day to get you in the festive spirit.

First Friday Art Galleries

The first Friday of each month has become a widely popular night when art galleries open to the public for artists to showcase the pieces they have been working on. Downtown Indianapolis has a plethora of art galleries to visit, with many offering wine specials and hors d’oeuvres. If you aren’t sure where to start, try out the Circle City Industrial Complex. This month, they are showcasing dozens of artists. This is a great opportunity to connect with your community’s talented artists.

Heartland Film Annual Best of Fest

Movie buffs will love this one. Come out to the Historic Artcraft Theatre For the Heartland Film Annual Best of Fest to see four films that gained acclaim in 2022. The Artcraft is a wonderful place to catch a movie with affordable ticket prices and great concession choices with locally-grown popcorn. Be sure to snap a picture with your sweetie in front of the picturesque marquee.

Pacers Games

The Indiana Pacers and Boomer put on a great show for basketball enthusiasts. The Pacers have six home games throughout March. Catch a game this month to welcome back Indy native George Hill, as he has recently rejoined the team. We love to grab dinner from one of the amazing restaurants on Mass Ave, then walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse to cheer on the Blue and Gold.

March Madness: Bottleworks Bball Bash

Introduce some friendly competition between you and your significant other by filling out a March Madness Bracket and then heading to Bottleworks to watch the games. The Bottleworks District will be kicking off its 3rd Annual Bottleworks Bball Bash from March 16-19. Besides watching the games, you can enjoy outdoor seating along with pop-up bars and food. Make a day of it by grabbing lunch from one of the restaurants inside the Garage and trying your hand at duckpin bowling at Pins Mechanical Co.

SoChatti Chocolate and Wine Class

1125 E. Brookside Ave, Gate D, Indianapolis

Book a Chocolate and Wine Class on March 20 at SoChatti. This class includes a flight of all four SoChatti origins paired with a variety of delicious wines. Take a tour of the chocolate factory, enjoy charcuterie and fruit, and create seasonal drop candies. SoChatti’s chocolate is dairy-free, vegan, soy-free, and gluten-free, making it great for everyone. Be sure to make reservations online. These classes sell out quickly. If you miss your chance this month, plan ahead! Reservations for classes are available beginning 90 days out.

Friday Night Swing Dancing in Fountain Square

The Fountain Square Theater Building invites you to Friday Night Swing Dancing on the second and fourth Fridays of the month. Each Friday features a different band to set the mood and get you moving. It’s totally fine if you don’t know how to swing dance. They have lessons! $15 admission includes a lesson before the band begins or pay only $12 for dancing without any lessons. Lessons begin at 7:30 pm and the band starts at 8:30 pm. A cash bar and food from local restaurants are available for purchase throughout the event.
