It’s nearly spring and the groundhog predicted at least 6 more weeks of kids bouncing off the walls inside.  Keep your sanity and tire your kids out by signing them up for a gym just for them!

NinjaZone Academy

NinjaZone Academy is the ultimate place for kids to burn energy while they develop gross motor skills, in a fun and challenging environment.  Kids not only develop muscle coordination and perseverance, but they also build character while working through the ninja course.  Check out all the positive character development one of Indy With Kids’ own saw with their little ninja.

Little Gym

The Little Gym offers classes to help your child grow and develop in an active environment.  Classes cover everything from parent and child time to pre-k and grade school gymnastics and even dance and sports. There is something for everyone at this gym where your kids will enjoy being active.

My Gym

My Gym offers classes for babies 7 months to children 13 years of age.  This gym can grow with your child and will help them develop physical fitness and gymnastic skills with a focus on building self-esteem and good sportsmanship.

Gymboree Play and Music

Gymboree offers classes for children birth to 5 years old, ranging in a variety of formats including art, music, sports, school skills, and play Lab.  Open gym time is offered free to members several times a week and on the weekend, when enrolled in a class.

Wright’s FUNdamentals 

With everything from ninja classes to gymnastics, families are sure to find a class right for them at Wright’s FUNdamentals.  Babies as young as 18 months can start ninja training and kids all the way up to 18 can enjoy gymnastics classes.  They even host parties! Check it all out.

Geist Sports Academy

Geist Sports Academy has classes for the whole family from 18 months to adult.  Kids as young as 18 months can have fun, exercise and learn some basic gymnastics moves with their grownup.  As kids get older they can try out more advanced gymnastics, tumbling, cheer or Ninja classes.

Devau’s School of Gymnastics

Devau’s School of Gymnastics has a dedicated Preschool Room with equipment that is sized just right for smaller athletes.  Their program focuses on developing the whole child in a way that stimulates coordination and social skills as well as other developmental milestones.  They also have classes for older kids from beginner all the way to advanced.  Make sure to check out their homeschool, Ninja and adapative classes as well.

Dana Manix Gymnastics

Dana Mannix Gymnastics has classes for everything including gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, dance and Ninja.  Their preschool classes focus on fitness and developing social and gross motor skills.  Little athletes will work their way up through the classes as they master everything from bars, trampolines, beams and floor work.  Classes are offered for all ages and skill levels.  Dana Mannix Gymnastics also offers camps and birthday parties.

Kid City at Greenwood Community Center

Kid City at Greenwood Community Center has it all.  This STEAM focused facility will blow you away.  There are so many cool and unique things to do in Kid City that your kids won’t want to leave.  Families can spend a whole day enjoying this state of the art facility.  Expect tired and happy kids when you leave.

Fitness at the Gym

YMCA

Did you know that kids 8-12 can use cardio equipment and participate in wellness circuits (with a parent or guardian present) at YMCAs after the completion of wellness orientation?  Youths ages 13 and older can participate in group exercise classes without a parent or guardian present.  Make exercise a family experience at the YMCA.

Toddler Open Gym

Monon Center

Toddler Open Gym at the Monon Community Center is a great way to help your toddler get their wiggles out and burn off some energy.  Kids 1-7 can enjoy the play stations (think tunnels, sports equipment, blocks, etc.) and run around.

Trampoline Parks
