Devour Indy is back and we’re ready to get out there and enjoy some of the amazing Indianapolis restaurants participating this season. I love Devour Indy because I can try new restaurants and dishes or restaurants that are normally out of my price range. The lower price points during Devour Indy stretch down to all kinds of restaurants, including many family-friendly establishments. This winter, check out some amazing kid-friendly Devour Indy restaurant options and save on a lunch or dinner out.
Devour Indy Winterfest
Any day from January 20 – February 2, 2025, is a great day to skip the home-cooked meal and opt for something new! Restaurants participating in the Devour Indy Winterfest restaurant week whip up unique, exciting, and value-priced menus of two or three-course meals at a discounted price. Some include appetizers, desserts, or wine! There’s nothing special you have to do, just order off of the Devour Indy menu when you arrive for your reservation!
There are over 100 restaurants throughout greater Indianapolis participating in Devour Indy Winterfest. There aren’t enough nights to enjoy every single restaurant, so you can fit a few more in with their discounted lunch menus too! The menu choices are typically adult size portions but we have a list of kid friendly restaurants that the whole family will enjoy! Remember, you don’t have to order off of the Devour menu. You can always order off of the restaurant’s regular menu or kid’s menu.

We’ve hosted a couple of company gatherings at Half Liter BBQ and have always been very happy with the service, ambiance, and quality of food. The kid’s menu has all of the regulars for the little ones and the Devour Indy menu lets you sample something new. For $50 for two, or $30 for one person, the Devour Indy menu includes an Appetizer (bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers, brisket & sweet corn egg rolls, or beer battered zucchini fries), an Entree (summer pork belly, BBQ chicken pita, brisket Manhattan, fried brussel sprout po boy, or pig mac), and a Dessert (strawberry cheesecake cup, bourbon cherry & goat cheese bread pudding, or pecan coffee cake pops).

Family-Friendly West Side Restaurant Spotlight | Oasis Diner
The Oasis Diner is one of the top picks for our kids. Their food is so good, their treats are even better and the ambiance and history at Oasis Diner are unmatched. The staff are some of the most friendly, kind-hearted people you’ll meet (this is pretty important to us when we’re dining with four young children.) The Loaded Cheese Fries are on the Devour menu, which is great because I would have told you that they’re a must when you eat at Oasis. Don’t forget the beignets and homemade slices of pie (yep, they’re on the Devour menu). Oh, and kids eat free on Mondays!
