The Circle of Lights

Monument Circle, Downtown Indianapolis
Through January 10, 2025

Visit the monumental Circle of Lights in downtown Indianapolis this holiday season and see the most beautiful Christmas tree of lights. Strands of lights are hung from the top of the monument all the way down to the circle. Drive around the circle to see the magnificent show from your car or get out and walk around. A special nightly “Shining A Light” presentation will start at 6:30, 8, and 10 pm nightly to accompany the lights on Monument Circle. There are lots of other things to do downtown near Monument Circle during the holidays.

Christmas at The Zoo

Immerse yourself in all that Christmas at the Zoo has to offer this holiday season. Enjoy Santa’s Magic Cottage and be transported to the North Pole, complete with Santa’s sleigh and reindeer, the lit-up Polar Pathway, and the mesmerizing Mirror Maze! Party with penguins, tigers, chimps, sand cats, brown bears, and more! Warm up with some cocoa next to a firepit or head inside to the Oceans exhibit or watch the Dolphin presentation.

Winterlights at Newfields

Experience the wonder of over three million lights in this immersive outdoor experience at Newfields. From Carter Green to Main Street along the Monon Greenway, Carmel

Through December 24th, the Carmel Christkindlmarkt will be open at Carter Green with a marvelous outdoor ice skating rink as its centerpiece. Spend a magical day walking through magnificent Monon Trail light displays and enjoying the free entertainment at the Christkindlmarkt.

Come to the Greenwood Amphitheater Park to enjoy a beautiful lighted walking trail with 85 Christmas trees, 5 arches, a Candy Cane Tunnel, 3,600 lights on the bridge, 10 light poles, 18 standing figures, and other holiday displays. The event is free and is illuminated from dusk to dawn.

Conservatory Crossing at Garfield Park Conservatory
