Driving Wind Berry Farm is famous for its urban blueberry farm. Over the years, they have expanded to offer strawberry picking, right here in Indy! At this unique farm, berries are grown in hydroponic, vertical planters around eye level. This means no stooping and squatting as you pick! The season is longer here too. Driving Wind’s ever-bearing berries produce fruit until the first frost, around October. Driving Wind also has a café and stage to host weekend entertainment. If you plan your trip while overlapping crops are in season, you can return home with a whole bounty of goodies. During strawberry season, the farm is open Tues-Fri, 8 am-2 pm, and Sat, 9 am-2 pm.

Bell’s Strawberry Farm

Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic basket for lunch and there is a play area for your kids to enjoy. Parking is located close to the berry fields. The Bells have containers for the berries you pick and are willing to share their knowledge regarding storing, eating, and sharing your berries.
