Given it’s our home church, and we might be a bit biased, I think you and your clan will agree the indoor playland at Brookville Road Community Church is top notch with an affordable price tag- FREE! That’s right, free! You’re welcome to bring your little ones, from toddlers through 5th graders to run, slide, roll, and tumble at The Playland.
We started going when my youngest, Owen, was an early walker. I was concerned about his safety with older kids, but the toddler area is spacious and sectioned off from the bigger kids. It’s packed full of cushioned blocks, mini slides, and age-appropriate toys for the little ones.
In the same room, and surrounding the smaller toddler zone, is the main playscape. It’s complete with tunnels and slides, and still plenty of space to run (AKA burn energy!). My boys are very active little guys, and they can play here for a couple hours before getting bored. It’s big enough that they stay entertained, but small enough that they usually make friends with the other kids who are there. I love that!
Important tidbits- there is one bench inside The Playland for mommas, but there are also several high-top tables and even a couple comfy couches just outside The Playland, in the lobby. We often eat lunch at the tables after the boys play. For your convenience, there is a single restroom inside The Playland. In the lobby is another restroom fully equipped with a changing table and usually extra diapers and wipes. The Playland is open Monday- Thursday, 9:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M. and Fridays, 9:00 A.M- noon.
If you come and see a momma wrangling two dark-headed charming little super heroes, wave me down and say “hi”!
